Hampstead has all the charm of village life in London — beautiful streets, historic houses, cosy cafés, antique shops, great food and plenty of greenery to explore.

Things to see & do in Hampstead ↓

🏘️ Wander the prettiest streets
• Flask Walk — charming shopfronts, cafés & antiques
• Church Row — beautiful Georgian houses
• Holly Mount — one of Hampstead’s most picturesque corners
• Explore the little lanes around Hampstead Village without a set route

🕰️ Browse the antique shops
Flask Walk and the surrounding streets are perfect for vintage finds, art, interiors and little independent shops.

☕️ Stop for coffee
Hampstead is made for slow café stops: grab a coffee and pastry between exploring the village and heading onto the Heath.

🍔 Have lunch at Harley’s Butchery & Rotisserie
A butcher and rotisserie with a seriously good burger: definitely one of the food highlights of the day.

🏛️ Visit Kenwood House & Estate
A gorgeous neoclassical house surrounded by landscaped grounds on the northern side of Hampstead Heath. The perfect place to slow down and escape the city for a while.

🌿 Finish at The Hill Garden & Pergola
One of Hampstead’s most atmospheric hidden gems: an elevated Edwardian garden with columns, pathways and a beautiful, slightly overgrown pergola.

I was invited by King Street Brewhouse to their Bloody Mary Masterclass with Buffalo Trace, and it was such a fun way to spend a Saturday in Cambridge!

We kicked things off with a punt along the river, learning about the history of Buffalo Trace and tasting some of their bourbon whiskey along the way. There were delicious Bloody Marys and even a Pickleback on board, the pickle juice from The Pickle House was so yummy 🥒🤤, all with those gorgeous Cambridge views as our backdrop.

We then headed back to King Street Brewhouse for brunch, where the fried chicken and hash brown were definitely the highlights for me 🍗✨and of course more Bloody Marys!

Walk to 📍Geisler Alm, Domites, Italy

We did this in early September on a Saturday and couldn’t access the parking at Malga Zannes as it was full, so we left the car in Santa Maddalena and took the bus from there to Zannes, where the walk starts.

We followed route 36 towards Geisler Alm and started at 12:38, arriving at 14:17 (total duration 1h 39 min), including a snack stop at Dusler Alm and lots of short photo stops along the way.

Once we got there: fries, a very good Kaiserschmarrn and some time in the wooden deckchairs just taking in the view. Probably my favourite part of the afternoon. 🥰

For the walk back, we took routes 34 + 28 (1h 40 min) all the way to Santa Maddalena instead of returning to Zannes. It was incredibly quiet and such a nice contrast to the way up.

It was so nice to be back here, still one of my favourite places in the Dolomites. 🥾🗻🇮🇹

🗻🇮🇹📍Val di Funes, Dolomites, Italy

I think this might be one of the prettiest valleys in the Dolomites. 💚

Val di Funes is one of those places where you keep stopping because somehow every view looks better than the last. Tiny villages, green meadows, little churches and the ridiculously dramatic Odle peaks in the background.

Definitely one to save for a Dolomites trip.🤩
