I was looking for a nice way to announce this milestone, so I did a sketch.

I’m joining Ford as an Exterior Designer.
I’ve wanted to design cars since I was 13, and ten years later I get to say that this is what I get to do for a living.

I owe a huge thank you to my family for supporting me from the beginning, and to my friends for being there through all of it.

I also want to thank my professors at CCS, and Heather Anger, for all of the help, guidance, and patience over the years.

When I came to CCS in 2022, I thought it would teach me how to become a better designer. It did, but more importantly, it made me a better person.

CCS gave me an environment where I could practice, explore, and fail safely. Some of the most important things I learned came from getting something wrong, understanding why, and trying again.

Looking back, I enjoyed every bit of it, even the bad moments, because they eventually led to good ones.

There were times when it looked like things might not work out, but those moments proved something to me: no matter what happened, design was always what I wanted to do.

See you at Ford.

Despite our best efforts, we survived!

A once-in-a-lifetime road trip with my boys @owenmshaw.design and @lexmichael_design . We drove from Detroit to LA, made our way through 11 states, and visited the Badlands, Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Moab, Arches, the Redwoods, and a few other places I’m probably forgetting. My appreciation and love for the Honda Fit has increased immensely.

The best post-graduation gift I could have asked for, and definitely a trip I’ll never forget!

After 4 years, I have officially graduated from the College for Creative Studies with High Honors! 🎓

This post is only about two months late, but I'm finally catching up.

I'm also incredibly grateful to have received the Imre J. Molnar Award. It's an honor I'll always appreciate.

I'm thankful my family was able to be here for graduation, grateful for my friends Lex, Owen, Madison, and everyone else I met over the past four years. Also, super appreciative of the amazing faculty and staff who made the experience so memorable.

Now, on to the next chapter. More on that soon!
