When history meets wedding planning …

In 1841, renowned architect Isaiah Rogers designed the Merchants' Exchange in the grand Greek Revival style. Later, in 1907, the building was acquired by the National City Bank, which added four additional floors and a second row of colonnades, courtesy of the architectural firm McKim, Mead, and White. This building is now what we know as Cipriani Wall Street.

As the former Director of Catering at this venue, and having experienced 9/11 there, this place holds a special place in my heart. So, when this couple was open to sharing its history in their Save the Date and, more recently, in their invitation, I was thrilled to bring that story to life with the help of our trusted creative partner, Ipanema Press.

Another fun fact about our couple — We planned her sister's wedding last year in October at Cipriani 42nd Street almost a year to the exact date of this wedding!

Artificial Intelligence—AI has been inching its way into the Wedding/Social events industry for the past few years, and we were curious as to how it could be utilized in the events space. We recently had our own experience with one of our stationery partners, Adrienne Kierans of Ipanema Press. We asked Adrienne if she would be willing to answer a few questions for us about AI in the stationary design world and how it has affected her process.

Each printed piece of stationery will still have all the elements of fine stationery printing: thick paper, raised lettering, and gold accents. You are just getting a little design assistance from technology.

We love to see our couples in the press! Thank you @theknot for featuring Alex + John’s beautiful woodland wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate.

We had a great design team that beautifully executed a weekend full of events. Our bride is a huge fan of UK textile designer, William Morris, and this was a huge source of inspiration for the entire weekend. From the photos you never knew it poured all weekend.

We loved John’s attitude about it all, “f*ck it in regard to the rain!” — our couple embraced the down pour and have cherished photos to remember those sweet moments. Truly a weekend to remember!
