What an unforgettable weekend! We are excited to share our breathtaking wedding celebration at Liberty State Park. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the many talented vendors whose vision, dedication, and artistry brought this magnificent wedding to life. Your creativity, hard work, and patience shone through, making it an enchanting evening for all. Thank you! Given the scale of this event, we had multiple photography and film crews capturing this wedding celebration and we can’t wait to share all of their work. Stay tuned! We’re kicking things off with our incredible video partner, Derek Chan Films, whose stunning work beautifully captures every moment of this momentous occasion. Part two… Moving on to dinner... We had three custom floral bars with gold mirror countertops and shelving adorned with florals and candles. The band performed in front of a 32-foot white acrylic wall with multiple arches at heights of 8 to 12 feet, draped in greenery and florals. Marietta & Stavros were seated before a garden-inspired backdrop of tall trees with flowers and suspended glass-enclosed candles above their table. Guests gathered at two large, doughnut-shaped mirrored tables wrapped in blue velvet, featuring mirrored bronze runners, oversized crystal candlesticks, vintage map table numbers embossed in gold, letterpress-printed menus on velvet, and stunning floral centerpieces. The remaining round tables showcased crescent-shaped silver wrought iron centerpieces dressed in florals, elevated on gold mirrored risers, and complemented by ruffled specialty cloths.   Dessert & Coffee… Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Marietta and Stavros chose a stunning display of Cipriani Vanilla Meringue cake. The Good Life Coffee Co. served espresso, lattes, and more, featuring the couple’s monogram, while music played from the mezzanine.   The evening was filled with dancing, featuring traditional Greek dances and contemporary favorites, as two fantastic bands, Bravo and the Marcus Reid Band from Hank Lane Music, alternated throughout the night.   When the clock struck midnight, Bravo’s DJ Alex took over, with confetti blasts and introducing lounge furniture to enhance the dance floor’s vibrant atmosphere. The after-party snacks were delicious! I reunited with Aj from Katz’s Deli, who reminded me I was the first planner to organize an off-site after-party at this venue over ten years ago, which was a huge hit! We also had Chick-fil-A nuggets and 300 White Castle burgers, ensuring no one left hungry!   Guests departed with a boxed Baccarat candles and sugared almonds, known as koufeta, given as symbols of the couple’s future happiness and unity.   It was a beautiful evening of celebration with a family we absolutely love. Congrats to Marietta & Stavros!   (Vendor list in comment section.)

We love planning joyful occasions for our families, and after organizing her sister Stephanie’s wedding last year, we were thrilled to start planning Marietta’s wedding! Over 300 guests gathered to celebrate Marietta and Stavros’s special day. The ceremony took place in the same church where her parents married, officiated by the community’s priest of 41 years. The front gates were adorned with white florals and lush greenery, while each pew featured cascading greenery and accents of miniature white cymbidium and dendrobium orchids. The reception followed at Cipriani Wall Street; a National Historic Landmark built in 1842 as the Merchants’ Exchange. This iconic venue has housed the NYSE, US Customs House, and National City Bank. Let’s focus on details. Guests ascended the red-carpeted, floral, candle-lit steps into Cipriani, where escort cards were displayed on a 32’x8’ mural of a vintage map of Downtown NYC featured in the wedding invitations. The four balconies featured glass-enclosed candles and lush greenery, while a string quartet played on the upper balcony, creating a lovely atmosphere. Cocktail tables and buffet stations were adorned with custom linens and silver mint julep cups filled with beautiful flowers. To be continued...
