I’ve known Tad for 25+ years—we met back in the Revolution/Giant Records days, and I’ve been lucky to call him a friend ever since. 🎸

He’s the one who introduced me to open tunings on guitar—something he learned growing up in Hawaii, where slack key was everywhere. He also taught me (and so many others) to play louder, take risks, and have more fun doing it. That’s just who he is: curious, generous, and full of life.

Now he’s facing the fight of his life—stage 4 cancer. 💔
It’s real, it’s hard, and it’s expensive.

We’ve launched a GoFundMe to help ease the burden so Tad can focus on treatment and healing. If you can donate—or share—it means the world. 🙏

It’s so heavy, I didn’t want to put on my table because it might collapse it. #darkregards #TheTaintOfTheWitch taken in North Hollywood, California by @iqbaliqbal
