A Sunday of Service!! ❤️

My Sundays are packed from the moment I wake up! 😂

It might be unbelievable, but my outfits usually take about 5 minutes to put together (Holy Spirit, thank You for always ❤️)

But one thing about my Sundays is non-negotiable: church first.

Worship at @cci_toronto and then straight to Follow-up duties - or, as I like to think of it, Customer Experience Sunday. 😂

One of my most exciting parts is helping first-timers to the church feel comfortable, seen and at home.

Trying to be fully attentive during my Pastor @britegwu’s powerful sermons while taking notes for the church at the same time!

A bit tricky…but excellence is a habit!

Whether I’m serving in church, at work, or in my community, I want to bring the same mindset: if people are trusting me with something, I want to honour that trust by doing it well.

And now, on my way to serve the people of Toronto at @torontolibrary - another major highlight of my Sunday.

Of course, the streaming service is coming with me. 😂🎧

At the library, and ready to help improve the information literacy of the nation. 📚

But here’s something I’ve learned: Information is only useful when people can find it, understand it and confidently use it.

That’s why I love this work.

Behind every question, information need is a person trying to make a decision, solve a problem, learn something or simply understand the world a little better.

And that person should always be at the centre.

Creativity is power and these kids are excellent at it! 🎨

One thing I love about working with children is that they remind you not to overcomplicate things.

Give people the right environment, the right tools and the freedom to explore…

…and sometimes, they’ll surprise you with what they create.

Anyone else love being surrounded by books?? 📚❤️
There’s something about my Sundays here that feels fitting.

Random conversation with my friend @timi.locked

I’ve been saying this - and DOING this, and I believe everyone should hear it too;

We see problems everywhere; in our communities, at work, in our schools, in our everyday lives.

But what’s the littlest thing you can do to make one of them better?

Send the email, Ask the question, Make the introduction, Try the idea. Build something small.

And what if you did it with a friend? You don’t have to fix the whole problem, just be willing to do something about it. Be part of the change you seek. ✊🏾

Woke up super grateful for the amazing gift of friends. ❤️

It’s been +2 years in Canada, and casting my mind back, I’m reminded of the thoughtfulness and generosity they all showed me.

Before I traveled, they set up a whole get-together: cooked, baked, the whole shenanigans.

Most importantly, they all prayed over me, individually and collectively (I still have the recording from that evening).

One of them even got me a Canada-themed cake to mark the journey. ✨

Today, I’m saying THANK YOU to each and every one of you. And if you’re seeing this, please help me say THANK YOU to them in the comments.

And thank you @pst_iren for saying YES to the Lord! @cci_global gave me these amazing people.
