I am so excited to announce that my paintings are now represented by @simonbartgallery Italy 🇮🇹.
The gallery is situated in the heart of Bologna, a city regarded as a gem of Italy’s cultural heritage. The gallery occupies a prestigious location within the most exclusive district of the historic center, holding a position of utmost prominence within the urban landscape. Housed in a historic building that also serves as the seat of the Bank of Italy, the gallery extends across two levels, one of which is entirely dedicated to solo exhibitions. The gallery overlooks a distinguished frescoed portico, the only one in the city featuring a unified iconographic program, recognized as a UNESCO.

Knowing that my painting has a place in someone’s space—in someone’s life—is incredibly inspiring to me.

ALCHEMY OF SPRING. 2026, oil painting on canvas.

A few months after finishing this painting, I took a fresh look at it and decided to make some changes.
And even if a camera cannot capture this nuance in the interplay of color tones, vibrancy, and multifaceted colors that change throughout the day- what matters to me is what I see myself!

Peonies that glow even on canvas ✨
Which one will you choose?

I can endlessly watch the light play with the painting . Colours change every second, then fading, sometimes becoming more saturated and voluminous, details appear and disappear in the light.

My September. In the studio and beyond 🍂

These two commissioned works are now complete.
After weeks of painting, layering, glazes, adjusting the details and searching of color nuances .
Now, the paintings are ready to leave my studio and head to their new owners. by @ira.volkova.art
