Hello everyone, my name is Ivan Ramirez. I am currently a Bryan University student designer specializing in branding & illustration. This is my first time creating a professional design account, and I’m excited to share my journey.

I’ve been sketching since childhood, exploring cartoons and anime art for over 25 years. Along the way, I developed skills in Photoshop, working on edits, commissions, and creative photo projects for nearly a decade. More recently, I began using Illustrator to expand my design abilities, building new projects and experimenting with fresh ideas.

As a student with autism and ADHD, I understand the challenges and responsibilities of the graphic design field. These experiences motivate me to work hard, stay open to learning, and build a portfolio that reflects both creativity and resilience.

I decided to draw Ami, Yumi, and Kaz from Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi Show. Because I watched some episodes as an elementary. But I never watched it fully in a row. I have heard that show is decent good. Assuming it delivers a good laughs and entertaining. 🤣🤩

This year I waited so long to watch the whole series and man after watching the whole 3 seasons. Janice Kawaye as Ami, Grey DeLisle as Yumi, Keone Young as Kaz, and more
provide some fun performance and capture some wacky, comedic, and some relatable adventures of this show. 🙂

Plus the live action of Puffy Ami Yumi cameo appearance. TOP NOTCH! Also the musical they done was incredible like I have never listened to every songs of Puffy AmiYumi before. But one song that makes me happy and keeping me positive I love the most and listened a lot is Asia No Junshin (True Asia)❤️🇯🇵🎶

🎓🎉 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 15: HOORAY! 🥳❤️

The Day 15 prompt is “Hooray.”

For today’s drawing, I chose to celebrate one of my biggest accomplishments: graduating from Bryant University! 🎓

At first, I considered a simple drawing of Droopy shouting “Hooray!” 😂 But then I thought about what the word really means: happiness, excitement, and celebrating something special.

And suddenly, it hit me…

Why not draw MYSELF celebrating graduation?! 🤩

On March 27, 2026, I officially graduated from Bryant University! ❤️

My college journey wasn’t always easy. Between assignments, deadlines, stress, and uncertainty, there were plenty of challenges. But I kept moving forward.

And after all that hard work…

I DID IT!!! HOORAAAAAY!!! 🎓🎉🥳

For this artwork, I drew myself wearing my graduation cap, gown, and stole, proudly holding my Bryant University diploma cover. My arms are raised, I’m smiling from ear to ear, and colorful confetti fills the air! 🎊

For one moment, I don’t have to worry about the next assignment or deadline. I can simply celebrate how far I’ve come.

Graduation doesn’t mean life’s challenges are over. New responsibilities, opportunities, and uncertainties are still ahead. But this drawing reminds me not to overlook what I’ve already accomplished.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we forget to celebrate how far we’ve come. ❤️

To everyone working toward a dream: keep going, and remember to celebrate your victories, big or small! 🌟

💄🎀 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 14: LADY! 😂💕

The Day 14 prompt is “Lady.”

For this prompt, I chose two hilarious imaginary friends from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Cheese and Bloo! 🧀💙

When I first saw “Lady,” I honestly wasn’t sure what to draw. So I brainstormed with ChatGPT again!

My first idea was Tyler Perry’s Madea holding her gun. 🔫😂

My second was Bugs Bunny dressed as a lady! 🐰💄

But I couldn’t decide which idea to choose!

Then suddenly, an old childhood memory came rushing back! 💡

I remembered a hilarious scene from Foster’s Home that I’ve watched countless times: Cheese dresses up as a lady, kisses Bloo, and proudly announces:

“I’m a lady! Now we’re brother ladies!” 😂💋

HAHAHA! That scene still cracks me up!

Growing up, I actually couldn’t stand Cheese! I thought he was annoying and always causing trouble at Foster’s. I even blamed Louise for creating him! 😂

But now that I’m an adult, my feelings are mixed. Do I like Cheese? Do I dislike him? Honestly, I’m still figuring that out!

One thing I know for sure is that he has given us some unforgettable laughs.

And I really appreciate @thecandimilo, the talented voice actress who brings Cheese and so many other characters to life. Seeing her smile and share her love for these characters makes me happy. ❤️

So for today’s drawing, I recreated the hilarious “Brother Ladies” moment with Cheese looking absolutely delighted in his bow, eyelashes, pearls, and pink lipstick! 🎀💄

Meanwhile, poor Bloo looks like he’s questioning every decision that led him here! 😂

Cheese: “WE’RE BROTHER LADIES!”

Bloo: “WHY ME?!” 😭

Sometimes a childhood character can annoy you and still make you laugh years later!

🐺💨 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 13: FLIMSY! 😂🏖️

The Day 13 prompt is “Flimsy.”

For this prompt, I drew Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner from Looney Tunes! 🐺🐦

When I first saw “Flimsy,” I wasn’t sure what it meant, just like with Day 2’s “Relic”! After chatting with ChatGPT, I learned that flimsy means weak or easily broken.

While looking through drawing ideas, I spotted a chair, and suddenly it clicked! 💡

With Coyote vs. Acme having been released about two months ago, I thought: What if Wile E. tried relaxing in a beach chair that wasn’t as sturdy as he expected? 😂

Here’s my imagined Looney Tunes story!

After another exhausting day of chasing Road Runner, Wile E. decides he deserves a break.

He grabs his sunglasses, prepares a refreshing coconut drink, and settles into a beach chair. 🏖️🥥

“Ahhh… finally, some peace and quiet!”

But Road Runner has other plans!

While Wile E. isn’t looking, Road Runner sneaks up with scissors and secretly cuts through the chair’s fabric! ✂️😈

Just as Wile E. leans back…

RIIIIIP!!! 💥

The seat gives way! Wile E. falls straight through, his sunglasses fly off, and his coconut drink spills all over his head! 😱🥥💦

He stares in disbelief. How could his comfortable chair fall apart so easily?

Then he spots Road Runner proudly holding the scissors.

“BEEP BEEP!” 🐦💨

Wile E. realizes he’s been tricked AGAIN! And for once, he can’t even blame ACME! 😂

So much for a relaxing afternoon!

🤠🎯 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 12: TOSS! 🎪🚁

The Day 12 prompt is “Toss.”

For this prompt, I decided to draw myself playing a ring toss carnival game at Circus Circus in Las Vegas!

When I first saw “Toss,” I immediately remembered a special moment from my past. Instead of drawing a fictional character, I wanted to recreate a real-life memory from July 23, 2017, over nine years ago! ❤️

During my visit to Circus Circus, I decided to try a carnival game called “The Big Ring,” where players toss rings toward bottles, hoping to land one and win a prize. 🎯

Sounds easy, right? Well, not exactly! 😂

I remember standing there in my cowboy hat, carefully aiming and tossing rings toward the bottles.

TOSS! 🎯

Missed!

I tried again… and again… and AGAIN! 😅

It wasn’t as easy as I expected, but I was determined to keep trying.

Then, after several attempts, something amazing happened…

I FINALLY WON!!! 🎉🏆

And my prize? My very first drone, a Striker Spy Drone! 🚁🤩

Looking back at that photograph brings back wonderful memories of my Las Vegas trip.

I was so excited that I took a photograph holding the prize box, wearing the same cowboy hat, sunglasses, and patterned shirt that I recreated in this drawing.

For this Inktober prompt, I wanted to capture the moment before my victory, when I was concentrating on tossing the ring toward the bottles.

It’s amazing how a simple word like “Toss” can bring back a memory from nine years ago.

💛🐊 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 11: RESCUE! 🦋💛

The Day 11 prompt is “Rescue.”

For this prompt, I drew Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Joanna from Disney’s The Rescuers Down Under!

When I first saw “Rescue,” I wanted to create a story about kindness, compassion, and helping an animal in danger.

I remembered Joanna, the lovable goanna who accompanied the cruel poacher Percival C. McLeach. But what if Joanna became injured and needed someone to rescue her?

That’s when I thought of Fluttershy! 💡💛

Here’s my imagined crossover story:

After McLeach falls over the waterfall, Joanna wanders through the Australian wilderness, exhausted and injured. Covered in scratches, with one foot bleeding, she struggles to continue.

Eventually, she collapses near a rocky hillside.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy is exploring the area when she hears a faint cry.

“Oh my goodness! Are you alright?” 😟

She discovers an injured creature unlike any she’s encountered before—a monitor lizard!

Joanna nervously looks up, afraid Fluttershy might hurt her.

“It’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you,” Fluttershy whispers. “You’re safe with me.” 💛

Joanna slowly raises her head, beginning to trust her.

Fluttershy promises to clean her wounds, provide food and water, and help her recover.

For perhaps the first time in a long while, Joanna meets someone who wants to care for her rather than use her.

I also wanted to imagine Fluttershy’s first encounter with a monitor lizard. We’ve seen her care for many different animals, so introducing her to Joanna felt like a wonderful crossover opportunity! 🐊🦋

🪄💜 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 10: MYSTICAL! ✨

The Day 10 prompt is “Mystical.”

For this prompt, I drew Yen Sid from Disney’s Fantasia and Trixie Lulamoon from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic! 🧙‍♂️🦄

When I first saw “Mystical,” I considered drawing my original mystical creature, Mighty Uni-Phorsion Walderniox. But I decided to save that idea for another time.

Then another idea came to mind: What if Trixie received magical training from Yen Sid? 💡

I’ve always noticed how Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, and Starlight Glimmer have developed their magical abilities. Since Trixie is one of my favorite redeemed characters, I wanted to give her an opportunity to improve her magic, too!

In my imagined story, Trixie approaches me, hoping to become a more powerful and skilled magician.

I decide to help her find a teacher and ask Starlight Glimmer to accompany her. Together, we arrange for Trixie to visit Yen Sid, the legendary sorcerer!

As the lesson begins, Yen Sid demonstrates a powerful mystical spell, filling the air with swirling purple energy, sparkling stars, and glowing crescent moons. 🌙✨

Trixie watches in amazement!

“THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE wants to learn THAT spell!” 🪄😂

With Yen Sid’s wisdom and Starlight’s encouragement, Trixie begins another chapter in her magical journey.

Will she finally become the great and powerful magician she’s always dreamed of being? 💜

🐏🩸 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 9: RAM! 🩸🐏

The Day 9 prompt is “Ram.”

For this prompt, I decided to draw Grogar and Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic! 💜

When I first saw “Ram,” I wasn’t sure what to draw. After brainstorming with ChatGPT, my first idea was Grogar riding a Dodge Ram truck! 😂🚙

But then another idea hit me. Since October is Halloween season, why not create something darker and more frightening? 🎃

Instead of a funny scene, I imagined what would happen if the REAL Grogar confronted Twilight Sparkle in a terrifying battle.

In my drawing, Grogar stands triumphantly over a severely injured Twilight, his sinister red eyes glowing as she struggles to recover. Covered in scratches and blood, Twilight realizes she’s facing a powerful enemy.

The Bewitching Bell hangs from Grogar’s collar as he looks down with a wicked grin.

Could Twilight survive this terrifying confrontation? 😱

My Grogar design was inspired by DeviantArt artist MelSpyRose1998’s fan-made interpretation.

🕊️ A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO DOC HARRIS (1948–2024)

Before watching Friendship Is Magic, I had never heard of Grogar. When I first saw him, I became fascinated by the character and wished we could have seen more of him.

Although I never personally knew Doc Harris, I appreciated his performance as Grogar.

October 5, 2026, marked two years since his passing. I wanted to dedicate this artwork to his memory and the character he helped bring to life.

Rest in peace, Doc Harris. Thank you for the memories. 💜🕊️

💚🦷 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 8: STINKY! 🦷💚

The Day 8 prompt is “Stinky!” 🤢

For this prompt, I chose myself and Tooth Fairy Von Strangle from The Fairly OddParents! 🧚‍♀️🦷

When I first saw “Stinky,” I wasn’t sure what to draw. 😂 After brainstorming with ChatGPT, my first idea was Pepé Le Pew from Looney Tunes. My second idea was drawing myself sniffing my cowboy hat and making a disgusted face! 🤢

But then another idea hit me. Instead of drawing a skunk or a smelly hat, why not draw myself with TERRIBLE BAD BREATH?! 😂💚

In my drawing, I’m afraid to open my mouth because every time I speak, a horrible green cloud of stinky breath escapes! Just like those funny moments in SpongeBob SquarePants, the smell is so awful that anyone who catches a whiff might feel sick! 🤢💨

Desperate for help, I visit the Tooth Fairy and ask why my breath smells so terrible.

But the moment I open my mouth…

PHEW!!! 🤮💚

The Tooth Fairy nearly throws up! She quickly holds back her reaction and puts on a face mask before helping me. 😂

She shows me a checklist of helpful habits: brushing twice a day, flossing, cleaning my tongue, drinking water, using mouthwash, and visiting the dentist regularly. 🪥🦷 by @iramirez0298

😰🖊️ INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 7: PANIC! 🖊️😰

The Day 7 prompt is “Panic.”

For this prompt, I decided to draw myself because this word connects with experiences I understand personally.

When I first saw “Panic,” I thought about the panic-attack scene in Inside Out 2. It reminded me how overwhelming anxiety can feel when everything seems to hit you at once.

For me, those worries can come from many directions—deadlines, finishing school, finding work, money and responsibilities, getting older, losing people I care about, negativity from others, and uncertainty about the future.

I sometimes describe this feeling as “Twilighting,” a term I picked up from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic for those moments when Twilight Sparkle becomes extremely stressed and overwhelmed. 💜

I can relate to that feeling. One thought leads to another, and suddenly everything feels tangled together. That’s why I filled the background with chaotic scribbles—they represent all those thoughts racing through my mind while I’m trying to process everything.

There have been moments when I’ve felt overwhelmed, frustrated, unable to think clearly, or unsure how to explain what I’m feeling. People experience stress differently, and others may not always realize what is happening inside someone’s mind.

That’s what I wanted this drawing to capture—not just what panic looks like, but what it can feel like.

Sometimes putting those feelings onto paper helps me express something that’s difficult to explain with words. ✏️❤️

🧅🛹 INKTOBER 2026 — DAY 6: OGRE! 🛹🧅

The Day 6 prompt is “Ogre!” 🧅

For my version, I chose Shrek—but with his skateboard! 🛹💚

When I first looked at the 2026 prompt “Ogre,” Shrek was obviously one of the first characters that came to mind. 😂 But I wanted to do something more interesting than simply drawing him standing there.

My first idea was to draw Ogre Shrek and Human Shrek on opposite sides of the page. Another funny idea was to draw myself as an ogre while Shrek became human, as if some witchcraft spell accidentally switched us! 😂🪄

But then an old gaming memory came back to me.

When I was younger, I remember playing my cousin’s GameCube copy of Tony Hawk’s Underground 2. And somehow, in a game filled with professional skateboarders…

SHREK WAS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER. 😂🛹

I remember being surprised when I discovered that. Seeing this giant green ogre riding around on a skateboard was so ridiculous that it became one of those funny gaming memories that stuck with me.

That gave me my final idea.

Instead of drawing Shrek in his swamp or focusing on his transformation, I imagined him grabbing his skateboard and showing everyone that ogres can shred too! 🛹🔥

Maybe Shrek rolls up to the skatepark, looks at a huge ramp and says:

“What are ye looking at? Never seen an ogre skateboard before?” 😂

Then he drops in, launches off the ramp and somehow lands the trick while everyone watches in disbelief.

For me, this drawing became more than simply illustrating an “Ogre.” It let me combine Shrek, gaming, skateboarding, and one of my nostalgic GameCube memories into one Inktober piece.

Sometimes the best ideas come from remembering something completely unexpected from your childhood. 💚🎮🛹
