What an insightful session! by @irene360d

DON’T WASH YOUR NETS JUST YET!

One of the things I deeply desired to do this year was visit Wambugu Apples Farm. 🍎

But the months kept rolling by, and the visit wasn't happening. It was beginning to look like one of those dreams I'd have to carry into another year.
Then TODAY happened!

Travelling from Naivasha to Nanyuki, I took a different route, and BOOM! THERE IT WAS! WAMBUGU APPLES FARM, RIGHT BY THE ROADSIDE!

I couldn't believe it!

The very place I'd desired to visit for months was right before my eyes!
I reversed, turned back, and drove straight into the farm.

And it hit me: DON'T WASH YOUR NETS JUST YET!

In Luke 5, Peter had fished all night and caught nothing. He had washed his nets and was ready to call it a day. But Jesus told him to try again, and the catch was beyond what he could have imagined.

What if Peter had packed up too soon?
Sometimes, we do the same with our years. When our plans delay and our expectations aren't met, we mentally close the year and postpone our dreams.

But my experience today reminded me that a different route can lead you to a long-awaited destination!

Don't give up on 2026 yet. Keep your nets ready. Keep showing up. Keep believing.

Your next catch may be closer than you think!

What are you still believing to accomplish before the year ends?

Intellectual wellness is about keeping your mind curious, active, and growing.
When we stop learning, we stay stuck. When we keep learning, new doors open.
Today, read a page, listen to a podcast, or learn one new thing.
Never stop growing your mind. It is one of your greatest investments.

Mental wellness is about caring for your mind the way you care for your body.
Strength is not hiding what you feel. It is acknowledging it and giving yourself permission to heal.
Today, take a deep breath, talk to someone you trust, and be kind to yourself.
A healthy mind is the foundation of a thriving life.

Physical wellness is about honoring the body that carries you through life.
Move daily, drink enough water, eat food that nourishes you, and rest well.
Start small today. Take a walk, stretch, or drink an extra glass of water.
Take care of your body, and it will take care of your dreams.

Environmental wellness is about the spaces you live in and how they shape the way you feel.
A clean, peaceful space calms the mind. A cluttered one quietly adds stress.
Today, start small. Open a window, clear one corner, and let in some fresh air and light.
You deserve a space that supports the life you are building.

Spiritual wellness is about connection: to yourself, to something greater, and to your purpose.
When your spirit is nourished, you carry a peace that does not depend on your circumstances.
Take a quiet moment today. Pray, reflect, or simply breathe. Your spirit needs care just like your body and mind.
You were created to thrive, in every dimension.

Your mind was made to grow, and every day gives you a chance to feed it.
Intellectual wellness is about staying curious. Read a book, learn a new skill, ask questions, and listen to ideas different from your own.
When you keep learning, you keep growing, and a growing mind opens doors you never knew existed.

Spiritual wellness is about knowing who you are and what you stand for, beyond what you do or own.
Take a quiet moment today to pray, meditate, or simply be still. Reconnect with your faith, your values, and your sense of purpose.
When your spirit is grounded, you find peace in the storms and direction when life feels uncertain.
