This spot has some of the most delicious and affordable Vietnamese dishes in the Bay Area!

We recently visited @pho21sanjose in San Jose, and when we arrived, the place was buzzing with people, which was a great sign! We also learned that they’re open until 2 AM, making it a perfect spot for a late-night meal!

They offer so many Vietnamese dishes beyond just Pho, from appetizers and noodles to rice plates, boba, and Vietnamese Coffee! We started with the Egg Rolls and Garlic Chicken Wings, and both were the perfect appetizers! The Egg Rolls were super crispy, and the Chicken Wings were seriously delicious!

Then it was time to dive into the main dishes. The Seafood Fried Rice quickly caught our attention! The rice had this amazing smoky, umami flavor that was so addictive. This is a delicious dish! The Shaking Beef was another hit! The beef was incredibly tender and coated in a rich, savory sauce. One bite was definitely not enough!

We also tried a few unique noodle dishes, including the Chicken Dry Noodle with house sauce and the Seafood Crispy Egg Noodle. Both were delicious, but if you’re here for the Pho, you have to try their House Special Pho. The broth was so comforting and packed with rich, savory flavors. It came loaded with rare steak, brisket, tendon, and meatballs. This is definitely the perfect bowl of Pho to enjoy during the colder season!

We just found one of the BEST Pad Thai spots in the Bay Area!

We visited @lungo.eatery in Mountain View, a new Thai restaurant that opened just four months ago, and we were so impressed by their unique and modern take on Thai cuisine! The restaurant is stylish, beautifully decorated, and perfect for a night out.

We started with the 🦀 Crab Fried Rice, which was packed with flavor and came with a generous amount of crab. If you’re a big fan of steak, you have to try their 🥩 Isaan New York Steak! It came sizzling on a hot stone plate, and the steak was incredibly juicy and tender, and it paired perfectly with the Sticky Rice that comes with it.

We also tried 🐟 the Crispy Branzino, a deep-fried butterflied branzino served with green apple dressing and brown rice. This dish was so unique! The fish tasted incredibly fresh, and the dressing really brought all the flavors together.

But the star of the night was definitely the 🦐 Pad Thai! The presentation was stunning, and the tiger prawn that came with it was huge! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the prawn really took the dish to another level. This was easily one of the best Pad Thai we’ve had in a long time!

To end the night, we enjoyed a delicious 🍫 Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream. And don’t skip their 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice! It was beautifully presented, not too sweet, and absolutely delicious.

We’re so glad we discovered this new Thai spot! It’s easily become one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the Bay!

This ramen shop in San Francisco has some of the most unique ramen we’ve had in a while! We’re at @hinodeya_sf in Japantown, one of the best places to get ramen in the Bay Area! They’re well-known for their unique take on ramen broth, which is made with dashi, and we’re so excited to give it a try!

It was such a beautiful day, so we decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather. We started with some Fried Chicken with Sweet and Spicy Sauce as an appetizer, along with a cold Japanese beer.

Then, it was time for some ramen! We tried four different kinds: Deluxe Tonkotsu, Sukiyaki Beef, Hamaguri Clam, and Tokyo Seven Duck Ramen.

The first thing we noticed was how clear and clean the broth was, yet it was packed with rich umami flavor. It blended perfectly with the noodles! The noodles had that perfect texture, making every slurp so satisfying!

The Tonkotsu and Sukiyaki Beef were a hit and definitely the ultimate ramen comfort food! If you’re a seafood lover, you have to try the Hamaguri Clam Ramen. This unique ramen is packed with seafood flavor from the clams, making the broth incredibly tasty and flavorful.

Another unique one is the Tokyo Seven Duck Ramen! This limited-edition summer ramen features a rich chicken broth topped with seven perfectly roasted slices of duck breast. It’s such a delicious and satisfying bowl of ramen, so be sure to try it while it’s still available!

One of our favorite brunch spots in San Francisco! We’re at @surisansf near Fisherman’s Wharf, and we absolutely love their Asian-inspired American comfort food with modern Korean flavors. The decor is beautiful, and they also have a lovely outdoor seating area!

We kicked off our food adventure with the Millionaire’s Bacon Sampler Platter, featuring four unique flavors: Original, Citron, Cinnamon, and Rosemary. If you love bacon, this is a must-try! We couldn’t agree on which flavor was the best because they were all so good!

The Pimp Up Ramyun was another comforting dish we enjoyed! It’s an upgraded version of your regular ramyeon, topped with a large piece of bacon and a nice spicy kick!

We also tried two new menu items: the Cremchi Rice Cake and Galbi Sando. The Cremchi Rice Cake features long rice cakes tossed in a creamy sauce with shrimp, bacon, mushrooms, and kimchi. The flavors were amazing, especially with the runny egg! The Galbi Sando was another hit! A simple sandwich filled with flavorful galbi meat that made every bite so addictive! It also comes with French fries and fresh fruit.

Of course, we couldn’t leave without ordering our favorite Korean comfort food, Dolsot Bibimbap! Served in a sizzling hot stone pot, it had the perfect balance of flavors. Just add gochujang, mix everything together, and enjoy!

Overall, we had an amazing brunch experience at Surisan! Definitely one of our favorite brunch spots in the Bay Area!

We love hibachi night, and this place has some of the most affordable hibachi takeout in the Bay Area! We’re at @hibachikatana in Pittsburg, CA, to pick up some delicious hibachi dishes for dinner!

We started with some appetizers, including Gyoza, Cheese Wontons, Mixed Tempura, and our favorite, the Garlic Edamame!
For the main dishes, we got the Hibachi Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Katsu, Salmon, and the Deluxe, which comes with shrimp, chicken, and beef. We enjoyed every dish and really appreciated the generous portions! The fried rice comes with most of the dishes, and surprisingly, it was one of the highlights of our meal! It was so flavorful and really took the dishes to the next level. The noodles were delicious, the Chicken Katsu was perfectly crispy, the salmon was seasoned just right, and the beef in the Deluxe was tender and juicy! They also have their signature Yum Yum and Garlic Ginger sauces that you definitely don’t want to miss!

With generous portions, delicious flavors, and affordable prices, this is the perfect spot for a hibachi night at home!

This is one of the best pumpkin patch destinations in the Bay Area!

We visited @sffbrentwood in Brentwood, CA, to pick out some pumpkins and enjoy all the fun activities they have to offer. The farm was beautifully decorated, with so many great spots for taking pictures. My favorite part was the animals! They have ponies, donkeys, cows, chickens, and peacocks. They also have a very unique bee farm. I’ve never seen so many bees before! There are plenty of activities for the whole family. And, if you get hungry, they have several food trucks where you can grab something to eat while enjoying live music. After that, head over to the corn maze for more fun, and don’t forget to pick out your favorite pumpkin on your way out!

We’re big fans of Lomo Saltado and were so excited to discover this Peruvian spot during our recent travels. This is Huanchaco in Brentwood, CA, and they serve so many delicious Peruvian dishes!

We started with some iconic and refreshing Peruvian sodas. It was a hot day, so these drinks really hit the spot!
We got several dishes, starting with the Chicharrón, which was so crispy and juicy. Even though it’s an appetizer, it went really well with the other dishes too. Then came the Lomo Saltado, our favorite Peruvian comfort dish. This one was a hit! The filet mignon was soft and tender, and the savory sauce brought everything together. The Pollada was another hit! The chicken was smoky, full of flavor, and just outstanding. Bistec a lo Pobre was such a hearty dish, and the sweet plantains gave it the perfect balance. And then came the crowd favorite, Arroz con Mariscos! This Peruvian seafood rice dish stole the spotlight with its rich umami flavor. Every bite was so satisfying!

Finally, we ended our meal with Picarones, Peruvian donuts that were incredibly soft and served with homemade syrup. The perfect ending to a fantastic meal!

It’s been a while since I enjoyed spicy Korean chicken feet, so I was excited to see this on the menu!

We’re at @tuum.oakland in Oakland, CA, to enjoy some delicious Korean dishes. This Korean gastropub is open until late, making it a perfect spot for a late-night gathering.

We started with refreshing Korean soju and beer and went straight to the food.

First up was their signature dish, Dakbal. These Korean chicken feet are covered in a spicy sauce that slowly brings up the heat as you eat more. They tasted amazing!

We also got many Korean comfort food favorites. The Korean Fried Chicken was crispy and drenched in a sweet soy garlic sauce. Every bite was so satisfying! The LA Galbi was another hit and one of our favorite dishes! The smokiness, the flavor, and the sauce all came together perfectly. It was delicious!

Then it was time for some seriously cheesy pocha dishes. We got the Kimchi Pizza Donkatsu, Kimchi Fried Rice, and Cheese Buldak. There was so much shredded mozzarella on these dishes, and it was so satisfying to eat! The cheese helped tone down the heat while adding even more flavor. And of course, they paired perfectly with our drinks!

Finally, we couldn’t skip the 420 Fries because we’re huge fans of fries! These unique fries are seasoned with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and drizzled with a sweet and savory white sauce.

This has been such an amazing K-pub experience!

We always enjoy Thai brunch, so we were excited to try this spot in San Francisco! We’re at @khobkhun.sf in the Inner Richmond to enjoy their take on Thai brunch along with some delicious Thai cuisine!

We started with the refreshing Thai Iced Tea and Thai Float Iced Tea to start our meal. From their brunch menu, we ordered the Khob Khun Egg Benedict and Crab Lover Omelette. The egg was cooked perfectly with a runny yolk, and the homemade caramelized bacon was delicious! The omelette came with a very generous portion of crab, mixed with refreshing spinach and tomato.

We also got several Thai comfort dishes that we just couldn’t miss. The Pan Fried Chive Dumpling and Hoy Jor were the perfect appetizers. Both were so good that it was hard to pick which one we liked better!

For our main dishes, we got the Seafood Pad Cha, Khao Soi with Sai Ua, Guay Teow Kua Pu, and Tom Yum Kung Fried Rice. These were some seriously delicious dishes! The Pad Cha was so aromatic with bold flavors, while the curry in the Khao Soi was rich and addicting. We also really enjoyed the Sai Ua sausage that came with it.

We were really surprised by how good the Guay Teow Kua Pu was! It was light and nicely charred, with plenty of crab meat and such a well-balanced flavor. We also really enjoyed the Tom Yum Kung Fried Rice! It was delicious, and the bold tom yum flavor really took center stage. Both dishes really took the spotlight!

For dessert, we tried the Fried Donut with Pandan Sauce and Condensed Milk. The donut was freshly made, warm and golden, and incredibly soft. The pandan sauce and condensed milk were the perfect pair for the donut!

This was such a great Thai dining experience, with a delicious mix of brunch favorites and comforting Thai dishes!
