SPRING ‘26 - What to wear is easily the question I’m asked most.

I spoke about it on @sunriseon7 a few weeks ago because what you wear has such an impact on how you feel in your photographs.

With spring on the horizon in Australia (if you squint) I thought I’d share a few outfit edits.

I’ve always been drawn to clean lines and effortless dressing, but I also love introducing colour in a way that feels subtle rather than overwhelming. A considered pop of colour can bring personality and playfulness without taking over.

Comfort is always the starting point. If you feel comfortable, you’ll move naturally, relax into the moment and it will show in your photographs, especially when kids are involved.

And while we can’t all have a destination photo session, you can bring the feeling of one through what you wear. Colour can transport the mood of your images without needing a passport. Clothing has a wonderful way of shaping not only how a photograph looks, but how it feels.

Think of these edits as inspiration rather than a rulebook. I’ve created four colour stories with some of my fav brands for mums that feel timeless, effortless and easy to make your own.
