Dear summer, thank you for the memories and the community. We met so many of you at the markets, hosted a dinner with our custom candles, and watched our candles settle into new homes. Which moment was your favorite?

Black on the Block was amazing! No notes! From the music to the people. Everyone was there to have a good time and we did! And we nearly sold out of candles. Thank you @blackxtheblock for having us. It was truly the best time and hope to see you next year.

Winston-Salem, slower than expected.

Chai tea house, cute local shops, a farmers market, and the kind of rural backdrop that reminds you small towns still have it all.

Next stop, Tokyo.

Where’s the last place you lit a candle that wasn’t home?

The trick nobody talks about: light it before the board goes out, not after. By the time people are reaching for cheese, the room the mood’s already set. What’s on your board when yours is lit?

Same wick, same pour, different room. The ritual doesn’t stay behind when you travel, it just finds a new table to sit on.

Next stop, Winston-Salem.

Mastercard was not our bingo card this year but it must’ve been on our free space! We teamed up with the Mastercard Small Business Summit in Chicago to talk about real issues affecting small businesses.

We met new customers, networked, and built a community meant to last! We’re so grateful to be part of the family.

Tested a dozen batches to get bergamot grey right. Now it’s just what my apartment smells like at the end of the day. What’s the thing that makes your place feel like itself?

Our 2 oz candle was made to go wherever life takes you.

Whether it’s a weekend away, your desk between meetings, a hotel stay, or your favorite corner at home, sometimes all it takes is one familiar fragrance to help you settle into the moment.

A good fragrance doesn’t just fill a room. It changes how the room feels. It invites you to slow down, reset, and make space for yourself, even if it’s only for a few minutes.

That’s what we’re really creating. Not just candles, but moments you’ll want to come back to.

Where would you take yours?

your apartment, but it smells like an Italian summer 🍅

tomato leaf + citrus peel, hand-poured in small batches. this is the closest thing to a villa terrace you’ll get without a flight.

We hosted our first Sanctum on the first Sunday in February.

Going into it, the intention was simple. I wanted to create a space that felt inviting enough for people to slow down and feel comfortable staying for a while. Not a market you move through quickly, but one you can settle into.

We were thoughtful about the layout, the pace, and the overall feel of the room. Because of that, people didn’t need direction. They came in, got a drink, talked to vendors, found a place to sit, and stayed. It felt natural.

That’s really what Sanctum is.

It’s a market, but it’s designed to support more than just transactions. It creates an environment where small businesses and guests can share the same space in a way that feels easy and unforced.

For now, it shows up as a market. Over time, it will take on other forms, but the intention will stay the same.

It’s something I’m continuing to build.
