Running a stationary shop & putting on a book fair is hard work! Thankfully @d.ajredin was there to document just how busy and professional I am ✍️ In all seriousness this has been a crazy year for me professionally, I work full time between two different organizations so I can save up for a new risograph printer of my own, and run my online store @alwaysfriends.shop in my spare time. In my even sparer time I am the co-founder of a new book fair for Sydney that's launching on November 8 in a months time! @overprintartbookfair I'm up to my ears doing my absolute best because I'm so passionate about what I do and I have a lot of things I want to accomplish. I'm very appreciative of all my friends and family who help me when I have too much on (see always) and I am very grateful for everyone this side of the internet who is nice to me and cheering me on in some form. Meet the Directors: Ruby Powell-Hughes (@irlrubyph | @alwaysfriends.shop) Ruby PH is a multidisciplinary designer and creative director living and working on Gadigal land in Sydney, NSW. Offering a diverse sprawl of skills, her work ranges from conventional brand identities and business strategy to highly personalised, bespoke brand experience projects. Ruby has been working across agencies, screen and events independently since 2017, specialising in joining leadership teams to deliver special projects or focus on internal strategic output. Ruby also runs Always Friends © a micro studio and online store where her personal design and illustration work meets her passion for risograph printing, all fuelled by a desire to see more people access independent publishing. Currently, Ruby is lending her eye to interesting projects ranging from early business development to designing and producing full merch collections. Her current hobbies include writing film reviews, rehabilitating her rescue greyhound, and learning Japanese. by @irlrubyph
