Me in my 30s Vs Me in my 40s. 📸
Everyone always wants to know what the “secret” is to turning things around, and honestly, there’s no magic pill. It comes down to 4 non-negotiables. 1. Getting a coach : Honestly, this is the most underrated move you can make. Having someone in your corner who removes the guesswork, writes the plan, and keeps you accountable is a total game changer.
2. Consistency over intensity: You don’t need a radical overhaul overnight. You just need to show up for yourself day in, day out, even when you don’t feel like it.
3. Understanding nutrition: Fueling your body isn’t about starvation or restriction, it’s about learning what works, dialing in your macros, and treating food as performance fuel.
4. Your environment: This is the big one. Surround yourself with like-minded people who push you, hold you accountable, and refuse to let you settle. You become the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
If you’re sitting where I used to be, feeling stuck trust me, it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
Shout out to my coach @coach_jramfit for being patient with me and getting my lazy ass in line 😅🙌🏽🙏🏼 by @irondonryan

My greatest hope is that, in time, he realizes everything his dad did came from a place of fierce love and that he was trying with every ounce of his being to walk beside him through every storm ❤️ by @irondonryan

Fern wanted to see Dad’s gym and check out what the fuss was all about. Safe to say I might need to look into family memberships in a few years time for her and Owen! 💪❤️ by @irondonryan

Our first time joining a run club , great people and great Vibes all round . Owen even ran his first 10k and I set my PB of 28:40 for the 5k . Big thanks to @motions3k for organising a great turnout 🤙🏽 by @irondonryan
