POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Always happy and fun working with @sanjana_samraj and @musk.can :D
Made this lil something for @boe.fellowship for their new school builders cohort.

It makes me so happy to come back and be able to work with the the people I've learnt so much from last year. I've met like minded people who share similar beliefs about the education system and I've learnt so much more through conversations with the people who work in the field everyday. by @ishanikuwar

I've been working and these some of the times when I can make drawings of my own. With the more work i produce it has gotten increasingly more important to create for myself. Without judgement, without being brutal, just to create to hold on to the things you see and imprint them for yourself.

Made a lil something when I found a sliver of spare time. I've become a packaging hoarder and every cardboard has potential. Hoping to make more silly art while I attempt to balance work and life.

I had a chill low day, exhausted myself a lil that's all. Thought in that spirit I'd share my identity crisis self portrait sketchbook explorations.

These are from 2023, I haven't explored self portraits since then apart from the funny quirky characters. These are serious portraits. Serious art. What even is serious art? Maybe it's not that deep. This is when I had started using colour to be more expressive while playing with texturing it.

It's just a few sketches but it went a long way in understanding and expressing the depth of an identity. Will post details of each piece later when the sky helps me with better lighting.

Forgot to tell you guys about the murmurations tattoo, I experienced it in Ahmedabad for the first time. It's also the name of my graduation project so I thought I'd mark it as an important and rather difficult phase in life as a graduating student.

Started this sketchbook a month ago and these are a few spreads that could articulate the ambiguous brain thoughts well. I've been thinking of art, expression, vegetarianism, home, the memories associated with colours, gestures, indifference, what it means to feel warmth, equanimity, sugar, discomfort of growth, loss and absurdism.

The world has been burning, we have been burning. There's helplessness I feel and all I think we artists are left with right now are our secret sketchbooks. Here's mine.

The 5 year wait is finally over, we're 9 juries wiser.

Immersion Practice sem is probably going to give me nightmares for a few more months but apart from that I think I had a very healthy closure. taken in CEPT University by @ishanikuwar
