Best best best memories ❤️ by @ishapunjabi

I’ve always been drawn to making things.

Over time, that instinct just evolved - into building something around craft, people, and process.

VISHH came from that ❤️ by @ishapunjabi

The skill has always been there.
The systems haven’t.

When I began travelling across India and working closely with artisans, I saw extraordinary craftsmanship - generations of knowledge, precision, and technical depth.

What I also saw were gaps in structure.
Irregular demand. Limited market access. Undervaluation of real expertise.

VISHH was built to bridge that gap.

To operate at the intersection of artisanal techniques and organised production.
To create systems that allow craft to move from small workshops into brands, retail, hospitality, and architecture - without losing integrity.

Today, we work with:

– Apparel and home brands looking for a structured sourcing and production partner in India
– Architects and interior designers integrating craft into contemporary spaces

Because democratising craft isn’t about making it cheaper.
It’s about making it accessible, scalable, and economically respected.

Handmade at the core.
Systems that help it thrive.

What a year it’s been 🔥

Probably our most creative, energetic and impactful yet. So thankful to our team, our artisans, and our clients for trusting us, innovating with us, being patient with us, and making a difference with us.

So excited for everything in store in 2026! Promise to be more active here this year 😋 by @ishapunjabi

Ikat has always been one of my favourite weaves — the level of detail and precision it demands is nothing short of magic.

What looks like a beautifully blurred design on fabric actually starts off as a meticulous grid on paper.

This book, from one of our ikat weavers, shows the graphing process — each tiny square representing a warp or weft thread that will be resist-dyed before weaving even begins. The entire design has to be mapped out in reverse, with colours calculated thread by thread.

It’s one of the most complex and exacting textile techniques — and this is where it all begins.

Wearing tradition, my way ❤️

After two years of running our @vishhdesign embroidery studio I’ve finally found time to make things for myself. Got this Ajrakh saree from our artisans and got it hand embroidered at the studio. Pretty obsessed with this one 😍 by @ishapunjabi

Back in 2017, I visited the Patola weavers in Patan and was instantly in awe of the craftsmanship, the heritage, and how important this textile is to Gujaratis.

Growing up, I always saw older women draped in Patola, and I knew I had to find my way to wear it—make it my own.

Last night, I wore my Masi’s Patola, pairing it with a corset as a little tribute to our corset queen and bride @dhvaniraveshia ❤️❤️

P.S. Ended up twinning with all the aunties, dadis, and nanis, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙃 by @ishapunjabi

Sunday evening DIY – got this beautiful alabaster mini vase made by our artisans and decided to turn it into a candle. Obsessed with the glow alabaster gives! 😍😍 by @ishapunjabi

Our first restaurant project at @vishhdesign 💛

I’ve always been passionate about interiors, styling, and decor, especially being surrounded by incredible architects and interior designers. I wanted to find ways to bring craft into commercial spaces, showcasing what handmade art/craft can be to a wider audience in India. For this project, we hand-wove the ceiling and worked with our Shola artisans in West Bengal to create thousands of handmade flowers, resulting in a stunning floral jungle.

We pulled this off in just 45 days – it took blood, sweat, and tears (thanksss @dewansahil) to make this happen. I’m so happy with how it turned out and incredibly proud of all our girls at VISHH for getting this done!
