Your stick isn’t the problem. 👀

If your passes and shots keep missing their target, there’s a good chance the problem starts WAY below your hands.

🎯 Accuracy starts with your feet and hips.

Your lower body creates the path. Your upper body follows it.

Think about it like this:

🦶 Feet = Direction
Your feet determine where your body is moving and where your momentum is going.

🦵 Hips = Transfer
Your hips connect your lower body to your upper body. If they are late, closed, or moving in the wrong direction, your hands have to compensate.

🥍 Hands = Finish
Your stick can only be as accurate as the movement your body gives it.

And this is where a lot of athletes get fooled.

They keep trying to “fix” their hands when the real issue is happening before the stick even moves.

That means more reps with your hands might not solve the problem.

You need to train the movement pattern that happens BEFORE the release. 🔥

Once your feet and hips consistently put your body in the right position, your upper body doesn’t have to fight for accuracy.

It can simply finish the movement.

And when that starts happening?

Your shot gets cleaner.
Your passes get sharper.
Your movement becomes more efficient.
And suddenly, you look a whole lot more “accurate.” 😏

Save this and pay attention to your feet the next time you train.

Today was a day that I have been waiting on for years. I have legally and officially changed my name to Isla Dampier.
Though the legality aspect of this change occurred today, the feeling of being Travis’s daughter has been one for 12 years. A Dampier.
Not all family is by blood but sometimes by choice. I’m grateful to be chosen by T and his family 13 years ago, and I’m proud to finally make it official! by @isla.dampier
