Thank you so much to @wsom_media for capturing this moment in time for me! It makes my heart ache to know they will never be this little again. How do you prepare for something you knew would one day happen but yet never could have imagined it would come so soon and sudden. It's one thing to lose a parent but it's a completely other thing to lose the only other parent that you had. My dad was my everything and the physical loss I feel for him is incomparable. I know he's surfing the holy waters of heaven which gives me so much peace but what I would do to be able talk to him one last time, get one last hug or see him share one last moment with my girls! My dad was truly such a light and positive presence in this world and all I can do is try and live like him! He lived to the fullest, he loved without judgement and he shared the kindness that overflowed in him! It's hard to understand God's plans sometimes but I have to remember my dad had free will and what an epic way to leave this earth, foil surfing on a bombing day during a hurricane! I hope to feel your presence daily dad, I love you so much and hope you knew how much you meant to us!❤️ by @islaalu
