Wowweeee

That was WILD 🤩 abseiling down one of @coffscoastnsw biggest and best falls!!

With the falls being 80ish meters and 75m of that overhung, this was an experience I’ll never forget 🥹

One of the scariest and most beautiful moments I’ve experienced (with some magic rainbows 🌈 the whole way down to top it off)

Kicking off 24 in style with the crew @caleb_adventures_ @ninja_squeegee @curiouspattie @butterflyeffekt 🫶🏽🤝🏽

This has to be one of my favourite waterfalls we’ve sent it down to date!

A cheeky 100m to kick off the weekend and a gruelling ascent back up through the thick Northern Rivers bush.

Twas definitely a memorable one that’s for sure, it’s also my highest abseil to date! Smiles all round standing at the base of this big boy 🤩

How rad are events like these 🤩

Followed some good mates and @wildearthaustralia ambassadors around the trails at the Wild Earth Coastal High this weekend! And it sure was an awesome day out capturing these beautiful people!

Getting the chance to capture people doing what they love in the outdoors truely sets my heart of fire ❤️‍🔥

So so keen to get back out for another event soon!

The glasses that really do it all 💅

These are the Smith Bobcats

From trail running to abseiling, bush bashing through wild places or out on the open dirt road I’ve put these things through their paces on my adventures lately and boy oh boy have they held up well!

The chromapop lens system @smithoptics.aus has created is so capable with our harsh Aussie sun, cutting the glare and working well through bright to dark terrain changes.

A little into to one of my favourite past times

Canyoning is just one of those hobbies you’ll be hooked on once you get into it! I abseiled my first waterfall in a year 10 school camp and always wondered if I’d experience that again…little did I know hey 😂

I’m so grateful to have met so many amazing people through this sport and am keen as to see what Dave 26/27 season brings!

A little story time from my first attempt at the Western Arthur’s 🏔️

I planned this trip around this hike…a month down in Tassie to explore these mountains and challenge myself

Solo probably wasn’t my greatest idea but I felt confident

After running into some people coming off the range that had spoken to the ranger (and were told to get off the mountains) I made the call to not head up moraine K for day 1 of camp.

I knew this weather was a potential, checking forecasts everyday but it’s impossible to predict weather in South West Tassie.

Storm clouds started rolling in overnight and I woke to my tent flooded and the crack of thunder.

I had to make the call, solo out there would be stupid to go up into the unknown.

I was gutted! I had some great young guys who’d offered to take me back to Hobart which they absolutely did not have to do but I was oh so grateful they did!

Many lessons were learnt during this trip. Most of all was to be humble in the mountains, you’re not always going to have a good time in their presence.

A little bit of reflection, I’m still so grateful for this adventure and the lessons it taught me 😌
