I started my running journey in 2018 after I crashed my car on Father’s Day and split my engine. My dad told me to try running with him to help clear my mind… and it became something I always found myself coming back to.

Running has carried me through seasons of struggle, uncertainty, and moments where I needed to pray for clarity.

Fast forward to October 2025, when I unexpectedly moved back to Chicago… running saved me again. It brought me community, and I found that community with @peace_runners773 .

This October is a full-circle moment! One year back in Chicago, my 28th birthday, and my first ever Chicago Marathon. I’m running on behalf of Peace Runners and my goal is to raise $3,000.

Shoutout to West Side as I’ve also been a member of @lawndalecommunitychurch since I was in a stroller. I am a Southsider at heart but the West Side is so special to me to and I’m honored to be able to give back in such dope ways.

But fr I don’t ask y’all for much, but if you’re able to donate, I’d be so grateful. No amount is too big or too small!!!
