Most people copy charts from @excel to PowerPoint the wrong way. And then months later, another team member opens the deck, needs to recreate a chart or find the source data, and it’s a nightmare... (speaking from personal experience lol)

The fix: Paste Link
• Copy your chart in Excel
• In PowerPoint, go to Home → Paste → Paste Special
• Select “Paste link” and hit OK
• The chart now stays connected to its source file and updates when the Excel numbers change
• Keep both files in a shared folder so anyone can trace the data and pick it up later

I think it would TERRIFY even more of you that once a year I go to a random salon in Asia to get $5-$10 hair cut (dingy alleyways, basement malls, etc) 😆 my hair grows fast af though so I don’t really care

is @excel still a real skill now that copilot can do half the work for you? (part 2)

i tested it with another very common task in my day to day corporate job: pulling sales by region and month for my manager

Traditional way: ctrl + T, insert pivot table, drag region to rows, date to columns, revenue to values, then add a slicer for product. New (AI) way: type it into copilot and it’s done.
