Something I’ve struggled with is worrying about what everybody else is doing?

How he or she is feeling?

Do they like me?

I wonder if they’re talking about me?

Do I look ok in that photo?

Well ya know what I’ve learned by doing that, no one really cares as much as you do! They have their own life to focus on.

Most importantly, who the heck cares what everyone thinks about you, as long as YOU LOVE YOURSELF… that’s all that really matters❤️

Peppa Pig is down for Phish ⭕️

My daughter not only is obsessed with watching my photos and videos of where I’ve just been, but PEPPA PIG is her main girl.

So this new tradition of Peppa’s big adventures in under way. She could not stop laughing and it made us being gone so much easier knowing I had more than just a gift for her… this is memories !!!

Being a Mom with a Special Needs Daughter comes with a lot of fears…

Will she be able to make friends?
Will she fall out of her seat on accident?
Who will be changing her diaper?
Will she be handled with care when she has a meltdown?
The fact that she still is unable to tell me everything… 🥹

I know we all have our own way of coping with sending your child off to school, but this is hard.
We all want the best for our kids, and to know I give her that, it’s hard TRUSTING other humans will do the same… it definitely doesn’t come easy.

I have faith, I prayed a lot and my only hope is this next chapter will be as good as the last, if not BETTER!

Just to name a few…

She doesn’t stay home because she doesn’t like fun.
She stays home because the world is not always built to include her child.

She’s not strong because she chose to be, She’s strong because life left her with no other option & I’m grateful.

She doesn’t cancel plans because she’s flaky, she cancels because her child’s needs can shift in any instant, and nothing comes before that.

She doesn’t crave pity. She craves understanding. And the rare people who offer it? They become her safe place.

She’s not tired because she stayed up late (ok sometimes) She’s tired because worry, therapies, and seizures don’t run on a clock.

I’m here if you feel alone, life isn’t easy, but it wasn’t meant to be 🙏🏽❤️👋🏽

Guess what?

You matter too… more than you know!

If you don’t make time for you, how can you take care of them.

Nutrition, Exercise, quality sleep, hydration, time AWAY, all of that matters when your doing more than “the norm”.
