“They say all good things must fade… and apparently that includes my car insurance premiums.”

12 years. 4,535 days. 128,113 kilometres.
The Dark Knight carried me through it all — noble, slightly dented and partially rusted at times.

But alas… heroes don’t last forever.
Gone, but never forgotten and with your new owner, your story isn’t over quite yet.

And so, as one saga closes, a new one rises from the shadows.
Friends, meet… Venom 🐍

P.S. Yes, I spent way too much time on this edit. Please smash that Like button so it feels worth it 😅🤣

This song is special for a number of reasons✨

I started the concept when I was in high school. I created the top line melody and wrote the words, but didn’t feel the song was where it needed to be at the time to share it with the world. I put it on the back burner and continued on with other projects. Years later, I brought it to BC, who added his secret sauce to the music and vocal production, said this was gonna change the world as we know it (he didn’t say exactly that, but he’ll probably clarify in the comments 😂)

What was consistent between us both was “this track is gonna be something special!”

What’s resulted is a song that really puts you in the mood the melody dictates. Takes you to another world if I can describe it best. To thibk that this song started when I was 16/17 years seasoned, and can come out now and sounds like we made it yesterday is poetic. That’s what’s beautiful about music, the fact that no matter what time the art is created, it can grab you and take you to any moment in the past or present. Not tryna toot my own horn and claim we make timeless music, but I do feel weve been able to multiple this feeling time and time again🙏🏾🎶

Listen to RUNNING now on all platforms! Hit that link for the vibes👏🏾 and thank you to all who listen time and time again🙏🏾

I’m sitting in a Walmart parking lot right now typing this. Not much inspiration coming for a cool caption, so I guess “‘Frida’ out now” is what we’re rolling with. Cool.

Love y’all 💜

Love Right Now started out with @vov.production and his effortless musicality. It’s just so easy to “feel” the music even when he’s just plunking away on the keys.

After I wrote and recorded the demo I felt like it still needed something to keep it moving, so we experimented a bit and @its_bc_ added in the toms and four-on-the-floor kicks in the final sections. It felt way closer but I STILL felt like it needed something so @jazzmynwollfe came in and laid down the extra vocal layers which we sprinkled throughout. It sounds way more complete now and VOV, BC and Jazzmyn all crushed it. Thanks guys 💜

Out now blah blah blah blah…

3 songs.

Had ‘em sitting around for too long and I got tired of @its_bc_ chirping me for never putting stuff out.

One of the songs is called “Harvest Moons” so it just made sense to put it out since the Harvest Moon was this past weekend.

I actually meant to put something else out LAST week as well but it got moved to this Friday because, well, there is no reason lol (see the screenshot in the second slide 😂)…

Anyways, have at’er and peace be with you ❤️❤️❤️

Which caption y’all rate?

“Only YOU can prevent forest fires!”

Or

“Here’s lookin’ at you kid”

If you got something better, hit me with that.

Anyways, happy long weekend and play safe ya filthy animals! 🙏
