Next Friday’s @downtowngreenvilleartwalk Scull-Pop at @_thescullery will be a Pizza Party! We will be offering up several personal pan sized options from 5-9. Menu will be posted up soon.

I made an extremely crude attempt at a pizza skull and the amazing table top chalk work is by @seenbysierra - don’t be a starving artist, reach out to see how you can help design future Scull-Pop promotion. Open to all ages, skill set and media types! by @its_justwright

Summer break was over in the blink of an eye and next Friday, September 4th, we will be kicking off the next Scull-Pop at @_thescullery for the @downtowngreenvilleartwalk

Keep an eye out for a menu in the next day or so (there’s a pretty solid clue in the flyer)

Also, in a deliberate effort to further expand on everything the ArtWalk represents we would like to collaborate with some local artists to help with developing a promotional flyer each month.

My son Andrew (huge fan of @pittcountyarts BTW) came up with this month’s flyer. This is for artists of all ages and talent levels so if you or someone you know would like to be featured in the future - please reach out, we would love to feed you and show off your talent. by @its_justwright

Spent a first class evening at @paperplane_bar with fine cocktails & mocktails, fine company, and the finest co-pilot. ✈️

Absolutely obsessed with the dark, moody, woody, velvety vibes, and all of the hard work put into and attention paid to every detail of this place.

After a circling approach of the runway, they make their official landing on Dickinson Avenue tonight, Saturday 8/15! Can’t wait for the next return trip to start getting some special event stamps in my Flight Club Passport. 🧳

It’s been six weeks since I took the top off of this bottle or any other bottle containing alcohol. Not counting training and deployments during my time in the military, this is the longest I’ve willfully gone without alcohol in over 25 years. Honestly, it’s been pretty easy—mostly because I’m too stubborn to let it become something difficult for me and to be honest giving up cigarettes a few years ago was a million times harder in comparison.

As far back as I can remember, alcohol has always been a part of my life. It’s been there during the developing parts, the worst parts, the best parts, the boring parts, the crazy parts and everything in between — it’s just ALWAYS been there, no different than you would find a pair of shoes. It’s always been important to me that it NOT be a normal thing for my kids, which is why it has always been easy to not drink around them but when they aren’t around or after they have went to sleep, it’s never been uncommon me for me have a drink.

Over the last six weeks I’ve realized that I’ve let something of no real significance take a firm grasp on my life. I’m not saying I’m going 100% sober and giving up alcohol entirely but I’ve very much realized it’s simply not needed and it’s something that should be enjoyed in extreme moderation. by @its_justwright
