I realized that the fourth furry edition to our family had not been added. On May 31, 2025, Roadie May Jones came into our life and care after I found her running along the side of the highway, dodging cars and a large bird. I turned my car around, parked in the median, and hopped out to try to catch her. As soon as I called to her, she stopped, turned around, let out a loud meow and ran towards me almost being hit by a passing car, but she luckily she dropped and the car passed her by, and she got up and ran right straight to me and I scooped her up and took her back to my car and we made our way home. She had a bit of a bum eye, so we stopped to get some meds on the way to Justin’s house. Justin met us there and we gave Roadie her first two baths, doctored her eye, and gave her lots of wet food and cuddles. After that ordeal, Roadie pretty much slept (mostly under my chin) for the next two days. She is a beautiful baby full of love and Tortitude, and we wouldn’t want her to be any other way. She is the sweetest, sassiest girl. She stole my heart when she ran across the highway to me and we both knew she was home. 🧡🖤

Scenes from this past year of loving you and the boys. I’m so thankful for every moment with you three sweet boys and all our girls. Words could never fully describe and capture the love I feel and have felt for you and the life we’ve made together these last four years. I love you with all my heart and then some ever since the first moment your smile lit my sky up. Always all your’n. ♥️

Spent a first class evening at @paperplane_bar with fine cocktails & mocktails, fine company, and the finest co-pilot. ✈️

Absolutely obsessed with the dark, moody, woody, velvety vibes, and all of the hard work put into and attention paid to every detail of this place.

After a circling approach of the runway, they make their official landing on Dickinson Avenue tonight, Saturday 8/15! Can’t wait for the next return trip to start getting some special event stamps in my Flight Club Passport. 🧳

Our Recs from the Evening:
😎 Call Sign: Maverick- a clean crisp gin creation with a bite that will make you feel as exhilarated as being in a 4-G inverted dive with a MiG-28
🌲 Smoke on the Pines- an insanely good earthy green-forward mocktail

A big thank you to the whole Paper Plane crew for the hospitality! 🩵

Another @rootsforreecechefspicnic in the books. It’s incredible to see how this event has grown over the years, starting in @chef_blake_gotliffe’s backyard and now having a permanent home at @landonestate. I hope a ton of money was raised to benefit the @nchrc_official and to help those who need it. And as always, great to see so many industry friends banding together to help this worthy cause. (More pics in another post).
