Blessed beyond words and grateful for another year. Thank you God 😭😩 This birthday weekend was everything. The texts, the DMs, the phone calls with singing attached, the intentional conversations, the unexpected gifts 😏🥰, the voice notes! There was a time in my life when I didn’t always feel celebrated, so these days I don’t take any of it for granted. The older I get, the more I appreciate intentionality, and the people who consistently show up with love. I am so incredibly thankful for my family, my friends, my line sisters, and everyone who took a moment to make me feel special this year. Thank you.

The National Women’s 8K & Half Marathon was so beautiful.

So many women out there for their own reasons and goals. And the views along the course just made it even better.

There’s something about running with good scenery around me that always reminds me to slow down and be grateful. This entire race reminded me that I really can do this.

Not too long ago, I couldn’t even run a mile without stopping… (check previous ugly crying video lol) and now here I am completing my longest race yet.

God has truly blessed me with the ability to get up and move my body…and for that, I’m incredibly thankful.

My baby is FIVE today. 🥹💛
He is truly my little COVID baby, my biggest blessing in the middle of one of the wildest seasons of life. Being his mama for the last five years has been the greatest honor God could’ve trusted me with.
Watching him grow, learn, talk non-stop, create, laugh, and develop this funny, intelligent, adorable, creative little personality has filled my heart in ways I can’t even explain. He is my little broke best friend and the reason I work so hard.
I still remember finding out I was pregnant in 2020, in lockdown, in uncertainty, and spending nine months inside. That season of solitude brought a stillness that made me look at my pregnancy with a different level of gratitude.
He is truly my miracle and my gift from God. And today… my baby is FIVE.

The Baltimore Women’s Classic 5k last week was so special. There was something really beautiful about seeing so many women come together, each with their own story, their own reason for showing up, and their own personal goal 🥹🥹

And can we give a shoutout to all the supportive men who came out to cheer us on! They were out there ringing bells, holding signs, giving high-fives, and hyping us up. ‘Twas a beautiful rainy yet amazing day. by @itsashleywaters

Another 5K… Shamrock style. ☘️
I’m learning something new every race especially about my body: fueling, pacing… and that hills and I are not in a good place right now. 😭 Ya’ll I was doing good until that hill showed up and humbled me. But I finished 🙌🏾 and I’m still proud of my pace. I’m getting better every race. The goal is to get faster… so yes, y’all are going to keep seeing me run 🤷🏽‍♀️ by @itsashleywaters
