Another Medal Monday 🏅

Rain to start the race? ✅
Curls ruined within the first minute? ✅
Me being the baddie I am and braiding my hair 3 minutes before the start? ✅
A 3 minute PR? ✅

I’d do it all again.

The Baltimore Women’s Classic was everything I hoped it would be. Running alongside so many incredible women, young girls, moms, seasoned runners, first timers, and everyone in between was such a beautiful reminder of what women’s bodies are capable of.

The energy from the cheer squads, the support from the crowd, and getting to share every mile with my girls made this race so special.

Already counting down until next year. 💐

Today was the Baltimore Women’s Classic, and being surrounded by so many incredible women reminded me just how powerful we truly are.

Every woman on that course had her own story, her own reason for showing up, and her own finish line to chase. Whether you ran, walked, or cheered from the sidelines, you were part of something special.

To every woman who showed up today: congratulations! Be proud of yourself. Keep believing in your strength, keep chasing your goals, and never underestimate what you’re capable of. The finish line is proof that you can do hard things.

Continue to shine bright, lift one another up, and remember that every step forward is a victory. Here’s to many more miles, memories, and moments together. 💜✨

The 118th Metropolitan Founders Day celebration, featuring our sorority sister Phylicia Rashad, was a beautiful tribute to the vision, courage, and intentionality of our founders. We were reminded that Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was never simply an organization — it was a deliberate act of purpose. Founded by young women who understood both the responsibility and the power of sisterhood, AKA was created to uplift, to serve and to shape a future larger than themselves.

118 years later that intention still guides us. It lives in our programs, our advocacy, our leadership, and the way we continue to show up for one another and for the world. Grateful to celebrate our legacy, our founders and the generations of women who carry this purpose forward. 💗💚
