A better look at the hot glue webs 🕸️
And some tips that I think helped them turn out.

Keep a steady pull on the trigger so you have glue coming out in consistent amounts.

I think you need a really hot glue gun. Something that will stay hot and pliable while the hair dryer blows.

Keep the hair dryer RIGHT by the nozzle so the strong current is there before the glue even comes out.

More is more. Have fun. by @itsbrookedarwin

Word to the wise: wear heat proof gloves. It got me good this time, I’ve got a half inch blister on my middle finger, but honestly, worth it. These turned out better than I imagined. I couldn’t find any videos online of anyone actually trying this method, they all have the fancy air compressors, so it took a little time to learn but it’s very doable!

Okay this is the best I can do in less than 3 minutes and you get the idea, but I really recommend watching the full video on my YouTube channel if you attempt these because there was a lot of trial and error and it may save you time. Happy Halloween crafting!

When a bakery owner is realllly into Halloween.

I’ve held onto this pun for a while, I’m so glad I finally had time to bring it to life because they turned out so perfectly creepy. I wish I had more time to fill the entire window, but maybe this is one display that will come back next year with even more zombie breads!

I made these years ago and still use them every Halloween. They add such a whimsical touch to my kitchen and pack a big punch for such tiny guys🐀

The pumpkin pillars are back! I added a bat this year 🦇 but I feel like he’s missing something…maybe some ribbons or streamers coming from his wings and pulled to the side like curtains? Would that be too much?
I made him from purple foam and crinkled paper (similar to how I made the bat wings for my bagels last year) you can watch the process in my Decorate with me video on YT🖤

Halloween decorations over the years. I miss our tiny apartment in LA. It was so dark and moody 🖤 by @itsbrookedarwin

Summer with a toddler > summer with a baby.
We grew a garden, went on adventures, spent time with family, flew to VEGAS to see our friends. There was heartbreak and there was love. This summer was so special. by @itsbrookedarwin

Sometimes I sit on the floor and imagine how frustrating it must feel for everything to be happening 2 feet above your head. Helping is so much more fun.
