There’s a specific kind of magic that happens when a DJ connects the dots between a classic soul sample and the hip-hop anthem it inspired. Finally making it happen! We headed out to the Northern Dunes of South Padre Island to break ground on the new workshop. It was a massive mission—hauling a full trailer of materials across the sand and getting the site ready.

A couple of years ago, the old tree in the yard was cut down, but the massive roots and thick trunk were left behind, slowly taking up space and becoming an eyesore. For the longest time, I kept saying I’d take care of it “one of these days,” but it wasn’t until recently that I finally decided to finish the job....
