Houston Texas _ 21 years ago this month at the legendary Rhythm Room on Washington Avenue! V-ZILLA aka @zillathemonster finally arrived at THE BENCH with The NIYAT (r.i.p. Khalif) in tow and Comp 1, Akshun Kid and Baby J on the ones & twos ... all hosted by the BBoy known as Craig, the night consisted of great music, graffitti and a helluva show (which i have the audio of from that night) it was epic on so many levels, Zilla and his hypeman Chico took to the stage in front a packed and energized local crowd of hungry Houston Hiphop Heads and commenced to tear the house down with a salvo of hype and expertly performanced tracks, but noooo, that wasn't enough for him so he brought out The K-OTIX to rock with him on stage and the roof went off the place, you had to be there, the energy was palpable, it was one indeed of great performances that happened at The Bench showcase... it was #hhife era greatness _ it was #HHIFE713 and a night of #houhiphop101 at it's finest, it was #thehhifelife _ yo! hip-hop just turn 53 and we still can't stop won't stop hip hoppin!!

🎤 LIVE PERFORMANCE — BOBBYBLESSED Houston, thank you. I was honored to take the stage at the Community Vibes 420 Spring Community Festival for an afternoon of real hip-hop, powerful lyrics, and high-energy live performance. I brought that raw boom-bap sound, storytelling, and crowd interaction that I strive to deliver at every show. This wasn’t just another performance—it was about bringing the community together through music, positive vibes, and unforgettable moments. To everyone who came out, showed love, sang along, and supported my journey, thank you for making the experience one I’ll never forget. Much love to the Community Vibes 420 team, the EMF Family, everyone behind the scenes, and every fan who helped make the day special. Until next time… stay blessed. 🎤🔥🌿#bobbyblessed125 #lyricalgenius #houstonhiphop #boombaphiphop

#TBT #throwbackthursday Here’s a throw back for ya. Back in the days I was a closet graffiti artist, not getting up much but still loving the art form. I loved hip hop but found that mixing the instrumentals was more of my thing. After doing the dj thang, then becoming a promoter of weekly’s and then doing events as a silent investor then started up with my promotion company called “Point Of Elevation” I went ahead and took the next step and launched HOUSeTOwN records with my business partner @jakechilds. Thus giving me the logo look in graffiti. Lots of people have said why don’t you use a different font? A modern look they say, and I say fuck that I came from the underground hip hop community. We were doing hip hop and house parties back in the late 90’s and I’m proud of it. Boom 💥 So here is a few pics of me for #throwbackthursday and a few sketches. The hello flyer was my tags 🥴too @itscomp1 @mrpeabody23 @jsalaammusic #htownunderground #htx #houston #houstonoldschool #clubwaxx #graffiti #houstongraffiti
