This @giantfood campaign has already been broadcasted on @ESPN @bravotv @owntv @tvland @fox5dc @nbcwashington @cbstv, @bet, @hulu, online blogs, and more during sitcoms, @nfl games, game shows, reality tv shows, talk shows, and other regular programming. The number of you who reach out with words like “I heard your voice and knew…” really fills my heart…not because it’s me but because of what has been revealed, dismantled, and birthed in me through THIS VOICE

Someone said to me “Cookie, you were giant before the commercial”

It is coming to grips with all of what I am meant to be
THAT is what this is for me
THIS IS the HOME from which I eat
And it’s still just a snippet made for you to see
There is a lot more from where this comes, so kick your feet up and relax cuz your viewing has just begun

My heart has been more than burdened lately with those who have yet to master what choosing themselves looks like in all of life's crazy.

You want to be the perfect parent or spouse, you do everything for your team, you are constantly pouring yourself out, but you're extremely exhausted. Your resources are bare and you keep covering what cost is.

Doing more than the minimum and what's average, not only when it is asked of you, but because that's how you want to show up. But baby...you can't pour out ish with no drops in your cup.

Please force your moments to take care of yourself. I see you, but you will not make it being everyone's help...

It was truly an honor to have this beautiful human headline at yesterday’s Love In DC, open mic event. I know that her words left us all inspired, empowered, and ready to go eat life’s lemons whole!!!😂.
