It started two days ago with one simple thread: I wanna hear pivot stories from women over the age of 40 who took a scary leap into the unknown and are better for it

If you’re new here, I’m about to turn 46 and pivot once again in life, this time into a career in insurance which is a wild departure from my previous career experiences in radio and as a content creator but one that will offer me the flexibility I want at this point in life. I’ll never stop creating content and sharing my life on social media, I love it too much, but let’s be real - this place doesn’t offer benefits or a retirement plan and I refuse to work until the day I die

I don’t do well with change and I’m nervous, but also super excited about the opportunity to flex my brain and learn something new

You know we don’t have just accept this life for our kids, right?

There is a happy medium between zero 🔥💪🏻’s and people swimming in a pile of them Scrooge McDuck style. And nobody in power is even entertaining this conversation because they’re not being forced to.

They’re not stupid. They know all they have to do is yell, “They’re coming for our 🔥💪🏻’s!” and people will lose their minds. At some point common sense has to prevail, friend. At some point you have to understand that’s not reality
