How do you say goodbye after 16 years…. How do you thank an animal for growing with you through the ups and downs since you were 20… The hardest goodbye ive ever had to make…. Heartbroken. I love you #dogsofinstagram #puglife #pugsofinstagram taken in San Diego, California by @itsdouglifee

Today is National Autism Awareness Day! We as a family have kept this close to our hearts for sometime now. Our son Jace was diagnosed with Autism at an early age. We started noticing “delays” in his progression as he was growing into a little human. So many emotions ran through my mind as we dealt with the process. The sadness of worrying my son wouldnt be looked at as equal. The frustration of wondering if there was something I couldve done different. So much ran through my mind for him. Jace is our first child so we had zero expectations as far as milestones for children. Jace is in the middle of the spectrum so with the help of his Dr’s and Therapists, Jace will thrive as he gets older and develops. Nobody prepares you for this journey, but I am a man of faith and I know God prepared me for this journey. Jace is a star, and I wouldnt trade this journey with this family for anything🧩👶🏽🖤🧑‍🧑‍🧒 #autism #nationalautismawarenessday #autismsupport taken in San Diego, California by @itsdouglifee
