The energy of an in person event will never get old. ♥️ Watching new doors open, ideas amplify and ‘aha moments’ be born is so so powerful. 🙏 ✨ … … Thank you to the amazing 30 women who showed up for themselves and generations of women behind them by saying YES to themselves and their dreams. 🔥 … … We love you WAVE community. Type the word WAVE if you want to join us at our next one in April! 🌊 … … Special thanks to our community manager @wellwithkristine for capturing these great moments. ♥️ … .. And another thanks to @littlelakemarket for the out of this world food and beverages. ☕️ by @itsemilyelliot
It’s been a while since I have said hello! 👋 So I thought I would share a bit about me (+ I love hearing about all of you, too!) ✨ … … I am so grateful that I have had a beautifully curvy + twisting career path from marketing and sales in the cosmetic world to dementia care strategy, working as a naturopathic doctor and herbalist (and let’s not forget my first job ever serving 52 flavours of ice cream all summer 😏). 🍦 … … Here is a bit more about me if you are new to my world. ⬆️ by @itsemilyelliot
The best part of doing something new is all of the learning. Here are the top things I learned from my first ever TEDx talk! ❤️ by @itsemilyelliot
After having two pregnancies and post-partums in the peak of a pandemic, today felt like an extra special experience. 💓 Thank you to @prettylittlelaaura and my Mom for making sure that I knew what it felt like to head into life with a newborn baby being well fed and full of REAL life hugs with her community. 🙏 A truly healing experience. 🥹 by @itsemilyelliot
Today’s hangout: one brand-new baby girl, one baby still growing, and two business partners wondering how we got here so fast. 😅‼️ We haven’t known each other that long, but we’ve packed a LOT of life into it. Keep reading to see just SOME of the seasons we’ve navigated together 👉 1️⃣ Meeting over Zoom mid-pandemic while Em was pregnant with her second (yes, our friendship started in the digital world!) 2️⃣ Launching our first online program LEAP together before we’d ever met in person, which in hindsight was either brave or slightly CRAZY! 3️⃣ Turning our 3x sold-out group program into The Mastermind (creative title, we know) 4️⃣ Em holding down the fort through Kels’ first maternity leave… and somehow coming out the other side with a rebrand to WAVE 🌊 5️⃣ Hosting our very first event at Little Lake Market for 10 women, which has since grown into an 85-person day with sponsors, vendors and keynotes (still pinching ourselves at how wonderful our WAVE community is… you know who you are 🩵🤍) 🌊 6️⃣ And then, plot twist: both finding out we were expecting baby girls in 2026 😅 Business plans have shifted, calendars have been rewritten, and May leave coverages have been planned. But through every season, we’re here and we’re just as passionate (maybe more!!) than ever before to support female entrepreneurs in reaching their Next Level of success. If there’s one thing we hope you take from this: find the people who’ll grow with you, not just alongside you. That’s what THE WAVE community has always been about! Thank you for being part of the ride, and for cheering us on through every version of it. 💛 xo Kels & Em P.S. Sippin’ on a @drinkbarbet (our kids love them to!!) while we plan our next big WAVE event 😏— not sponsored but wouldn’t Barbet drinks be SUCH a vibe at a future WAVE event? Let us know if you’ve tried them and love them like we do!!! by @itsemilyelliot
When women come together, something shifts. ✨ Connection creates clarity. Clarity fuels momentum. And momentum inspires action. Our room was full of big energy, fresh ideas, new connections, and women leaving with more inspiration for their businesses — and more belief in what’s possible. Because sometimes, you don’t need to work harder. You just need to get in the right room. 🤍 Don’t miss the next one! DM us the word WAVE to claim your ticket for April 23 in Paris, Ontario. ✨ 🌊 Huge shoutout to our incredible, amazing + adores videographer @angela_desalvo for this beautiful reel from@the day! 📸 by @itsemilyelliot
Do you follow signs and serendipities when you make choices in your life and business? ✨ From the moment we met, the signs were everywhere! If you are struggling to make a decision right now, pay close attention to signs and symbols around you, they often have beautiful insight! 🌊 by @itsemilyelliot
Ever find yourself overthinking what to post? Waiting until everything is absolutely magazine-worthy perfect? The reel or blog that makes us look flawless? Here’s the truth: - The algorithm likes real, it doesn’t reward perfect! - When we stop looking like the perfect brand, it actually starts to grow. (Ask me how many calls we’ve shown up to with food or craft glue on our shirt. 🙃) - People care more about the woman they trust behind the brand than the perfect Pantone your logo. - Talk with your audience not to them. - No one’s voice will be like yours! So get to it! 💃 What does an authentic brand mean to you? ⬇️ by @itsemilyelliot
Talking to @dr_robynehd about “How to Stress Wisely as an Entrepreneur and Mother” felt like the most beautiful medicine imaginable. (Permission to take a big exhale!) 🧘‍♂️ … … When I tell you that this episode is loaded with gems, I am not exaggerating! ♥️ … … Subscribe to “ The Peaceful Mama Leads” podcast to make sure you don’t miss this incredible episode, releasing Thursday! 🎙️ by @itsemilyelliot
Are you avoiding selling because you don’t like the feeling of rejection? 🤔 Here are my top 3 tips: 1. Consider rejection to be just information. It’s not personal. Consider it an opportunity to be clearer and or accept the fact this person may not be the fit! 📈 2. Rejection can be uncomfortable! This may take practice to sit with the feeling. Over time it will have less power! 🙏 3. For every no, a yes is on its way! ✅ Subscribe to The Peaceful Mama Leads podcast so you don’t miss next week’s episode “Get Better at Rejection, Get Better at Sales” 🙏 Thanks for asking me great questions on this topic @risingravenwellness by @itsemilyelliot
