3rd marathon, 2nd in Sydney, 1st Major!!!!!

There's a point in every marathon when I ask myself 'why did I think this was going to be fun?' and then when I get through it 'ok but that was kinda awesome?'.

If that's not a metaphor for life I don't know what is.

Much love to everyone that came to cheer me on, Bulgarian split squats, anyone that left me a voice note (almost cried multiple times) and bananas (!!!). taken in Sydney, Australia by @itsemmatan

In 2025 I felt all the feelings.

I met kind, interesting people and had great conversations. I got a tattoo and didn't die. I learned sometimes running is in fact, very hard (but that I still love it). I picked up a ball sport (!).

My heart broke and my friends picked up the pieces.

I sang, I danced, I went to gigs, I felt joy. I watched dear friends cross continents, commit to their love for each other and bring babies into the world. I lost confidence in myself and then found it again. I had the privilege of experiencing Sydney in a way I never have before. I learned to lean on people. I lost myself in mountains and even more books. I decided to be audacious.

Here's to the years that make us and the people that fill them 🥂 by @itsemmatan

Give me the kind of adventure that makes me feel like a tiny speck in a big universe ✨

Hiked up an active volcano in Lombok, Indonesia over 2 days (those scree slopes still haunt my dreams). Literally had my head in the clouds!!

Couldn't have done it without @rudytrekker_rinjanilombok @brunoburger_94 and the superhuman porters who carried all our gear 🥺 taken in Mount Rinjani, Lombok, Indonesia by @itsemmatan
