We dressed like we had a 9 to 5 just to go shake our ass on a Friday night. No wonder we aged well 😂

One season gave us SO many moments.

So at Thai Tavern’s final game watch party, we had to ask: what’s the ONE thing from year one you’ll always remember?

And apparently anything Mabrey, anything crashout and anything MM is a perfectly acceptable answer 😂😂

But that’s the thing about this season. We all watched the same games, but everybody walked away with different moments that stuck with them.

So now we wanna hear yours 👀

What’s ONE moment from the Toronto Tempo’s first season that you’ll never forget?

So you were gonna feed me AND teach me how to make even more money with my money?! Yeah, you don’t have to ask me twice. 😂💰

Such a good night with our MU crew, hosted by Neo Financial and our girl Olivia. We ate GOOD, learned a few things about making our money work a little harder for us, and I even survived walking into an event by myself. 😂👏🏼

But seriously, I’m really grateful for rooms like this. Good food, good conversations, meeting new people and leaving with a little more knowledge than I walked in with? Yeah, I’ll take that every time. 🤎

And look at me networking and shit. Growth. 😂

I don’t care what anyone says, going to an event by yourself is a different kind of character development 😭😂

Walking in alone? Cool. Sitting by myself? Cool.

Having to actually initiate a conversation with people I’ve never met before??? Now why would you ask me to do that? 😭

I’m actually very social once the conversation gets going… it’s the figuring out WHO to talk to and HOW to start the conversation that gets me every time 😂

But I went. By myself. And survived. Look at me growing. 😂👏🏼

It’s actually crazy how this all started.

Tempo Diaries was never really the plan. It just kinda happened… and somehow turned into one of our favourite parts of this entire season. And we wouldn’t change it for anything.

Yes, the season didn’t go the way we wanted it to 😭😂 but the people we met, the players we got to connect with, the conversations, the laughs, the people who stopped us to tell us they watch the videos… THAT was everything.

At the 2nd last home game, the couple sitting beside us got up to leave and said, “You ladies were fun. Get home safe.” 🥹 Such a small comment, but it stuck with us because somewhere along the way, we really became a whole vibe in that stadium. 😂

We came to watch basketball and somehow left with memories, connections and people we probably never would’ve met otherwise.

To everybody who watched Tempo Diaries, came up to us, laughed with us, talked basketball with us, recognized us in the building or simply let us know you were watching… thank you. For real. 🥹

What started as us just documenting our first season with our home team turned into something we’ll never forget.

Year one in the books!
See y’all next season 🫶🏼

And before anybody comes over here clutching their pearls about the lyrics… please relax. 😭 This is a whole university student who handles her business and stays outta trouble. A likkle Skillibeng lyric nah mash har up. 😂
