Just like you wouldn’t own a dog if you didn’t like dogs, you can’t be successful if you don’t like success.

The distance between where you are and where you want to be is usually just information. When you understand that you are responsible for your life in every which way, shape, or form, and you start to study the habits of people who have made it, then you realize that it’s a pattern.

You have to love it in order to be it.

There’s a whole industry built around shitting on the self-improvement industry, which doesn’t make any sense, because why would you hate the industry that is based on improving yourself, or hate people who have made it, if you aren’t somehow insecure about that thing?

The only people who get triggered by success are losers. Don’t let them gaslight you into thinking success is a bad thing.

Congratulations to you if you had the attention span to stay until the end of the video.

After reading over 200 books, these are the top 10 I would choose if I were trying to start over.

The game is given to you if you pay attention.

The thing is, everybody wants the results without looking for the answers first.

The instructions are out there.

Nobody said it was going to be easy, but it’s not some hidden secret.

The gap between where you are and where you want to be, nine times out of 10, is just information—or lack thereof.

This week is #blackbreastfeedingweek

Our team spent the morning re-educating ourselves about the barriers that exist for black mothers and black birthing folks. We discussed the ways that we way can continue to do more work to support black families, particularly within the hospital space as that’s our primary focus.

We do recommend giving @blkbfingweek a follow on instagram. We’ve also been big fans of the work @marchformoms has been doing for the last several years to battle racial disparities in maternal health. For anyone who would be interested in reading more, this Forbes article (released yesterday) is a great place to start. Link below:
