This is mostly satire, just for laughs. We love taking our family on vacation, and we're grateful we're able to do so. We love seeing our kiddos enjoy experiences together as a family and I wouldn't change it for a thing. by @itskyleoconnell

Ironman 70.3 Augusta, Maine ✅️

Swim 1.2 miles
Bike 56 miles
Run 13.1 miles

This whole experience was about testing myself, setting goals, pushing myself and showing our kids the power of doing hard things and not allowing yourself to quit. My favorite part about this sport is the amount of time you're forced to be in your own thoughts. You are constantly faced with this idea that you can just stop at anytime because you're tired, sore, in pain, you name it, the excuses are endless. But there's this other part of your mind that tells you to keep going no matter what, you overcome those negative thoughts and you feel invincible.

Big thank you to all of the volunteers and Ironman staff, you put on an a great event.

Big thank you to my friends who trained with me, let me ask a million questions and to my brother Mike for being the one who initiated this whole event.

I set a goal for sub 6 hours, I got 5:59.

#9 for us. I've always said if it wasn't for my wife, I'd be dead or in jail. You've made every house our home, you've supported my every move, and you've taught me so much. Paternity leave for your new baby and your wife are a must! If your family can afford it and your work allows it, do it.

This is satire and true, different generations parent differently, there's pros and cons to many styles however, I'm very proud to see a massive change in dads not only being involved but being leaders in the house.

True marriage and parenting is a partnership and any day now our little family of 4 turns to 5 and I couldnt be any more proud of my wife and our family.
