Excited to unveil a new look for MOTHERZ - inspired by a childhood spent surrounded by stacks of fashion mags and my grandmother’s black & white photo albums. This fresh identity honors the nostalgia, edge, style, and curious compositions of my work. I’ve been doing photography for a long time, but I really feel like I’ve found my passion with MOTHERZ. Getting to dream up these shoots and work with such incredible women and families just feels like exactly where I’m supposed to be creatively.

These trips are basically sunrise to sunset, running all over the city making things we’re excited about, followed by takeout and whatever old rom-com we can find 😂 Equal parts magic and exhaustion, and I genuinely wouldn’t trade it. And somewhere in the middle of all of this was a very exciting first for MOTHERZ that I’ll share more about soon (!!)

This city has been such a big part of my career from the very beginning, and getting to keep coming back here to create is something I’ll never take for granted. ❤️‍🔥 LA, I’ll see you in December xx taken in Los Angeles, California by @itslindssmith

This feels like such a good representation of the way I love to photograph families. Togetherness at the center, with an editorial point of view, but still fun and completely in the moment. My client’s extended family was in town, so her mom and niece joined us. I met Yeva for the first time that evening and she was just so radiant and lovely, immediately pouring us a glass of champagne when we arrived.

There was such an ease to the whole evening, and this session really stands out to me. I’m so happy with how they turned out! Part one ❤️‍🔥 taken in Los Angeles, California by @itslindssmith
