30 years ago, #Atliens dropped

1996 Atlanta/ Sophomore Year/ Clark Atlanta University/ Beckwith Hall

No knock to the first album (cause it was 🔥), but this album was when they really became #Outkast. When you started seeing how their individual differences made them dope together. Out of this world.

@bluesonthebayou at the @atthedeluxe was such a vibe. It was an honor to play keys with @therollingsevens and share the stage with some incredible talent.

Getting to perform on the same show as the legendary Kashmere Reunion Stage Band was special. @kashmere.stage.band They have a rich musical legacy. If you've never seen #ThunderSoul, narrated by @iamjamiefoxx do yourself a favor and watch it.

The comedy had everybody crying laughing thanks to Bawse Lady & Cliff Too, along with @banketheauthor and @houston__hot_girl_of_comedy

Then we came out and played some #JimiHendrix #StevieWonder, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Gary Clark Jr., plus some originals. Shout out to @criscrochemore from Brazil and his band for bringing that Blues flavor.

One moment I'll never forget... I had the honor of leading the pre-show prayer. I've never done that before, and I don't take that opportunity lightly.

Huge thanks to Q, the Blues on the Bayou team, the City of @houston @dynamicsoundhouston for making us sound our best, and everyone who came out and showed love. Great event 🎶🎶 taken in The DeLUXE Theater by @itsmarkangel

Another trip around the sun. Grateful for every lesson, every challenge, every blessing, and every opportunity that came with this past year.

I started my birthday the same way I want to approach this next chapter—up early, moving forward, and focused on the journey ahead.

I'm excited about what's to come and committed to becoming an even better version of myself.

To everyone who took the time to call, text, post, or reach out with birthday wishes—thank you. I truly appreciate every message.

Here's to another year of growth, health, new opportunities, meaningful, authentic connections, and making an impact.

Let's ride
