Another trip around the sun. Grateful for every lesson, every challenge, every blessing, and every opportunity that came with this past year.

I started my birthday the same way I want to approach this next chapter—up early, moving forward, and focused on the journey ahead.

I'm excited about what's to come and committed to becoming an even better version of myself.

To everyone who took the time to call, text, post, or reach out with birthday wishes—thank you. I truly appreciate every message.

Here's to another year of growth, health, new opportunities, meaningful, authentic connections, and making an impact.

Let's ride

We are saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Peabo Bryson. 🕊️

This photo, captured by the talented @raycornelius at the @wclk91.9 42nd #Anniversary Concert, is a cherished memory of a moment spent with one of the greatest voices in R&B and soul music. Peabo's timeless recordings, unmatched vocal excellence, and enduring contributions to music have inspired generations of artists and music lovers around the world.

So yesterday we dropped our first exclusive and limited shirt designed by me! (Laiya) and shot by my dad! #Thestclaircollection . Today i woke up pure joy in my inbox as my girl Germonique shared photos and videos of her beautiful boy, Chinua loving his new shirt and wearing his history 🥹. Watch as he reads the Certificate of Authenticity that all receive with their purchase. Remember, I have and will only make 24 of these shirts and each shirt is labeled with its own number signaling the artwork you are embracing.

Oooooo the feels 🤗 so, yes I have a few left so please DM me your size and we will go from there! Thank yall for receiving this new endeavor and bare with me as I am a one woman show 🤗✊🏾😘 #fredbenjamindancers #historywornwithpurpose

Sad to hear about The Suite Food Lounge closing and in particular, the end of the Suite Jazz Series, which entertained Atlanta Jazz fans for 13 years. I was very blessed to be able to get my crew The Dangerfeel Newbies booked there once and we turned it out and had a great time. Thank you to Doc Robinson for booking us to play and for being a beacon for this scene. Your hard work and vision will always be appreciated and I know greater things are in store for your future! Thank you to the owners of Suite Food Lounge for their hard work and for enhancing the night life of Atlanta!

It was wonderful to see the Atlanta jazz scene get its props during the Living Legends Foundation Awards dinner. This clip, We Got Something To Say, was part of a brilliant short documentary on the history of the music business in Atlanta. Seeing folks like Lil John Roberts, Kathleen J. Bertrand, Joe Grandsden, Tia Fuller and my crew The Dangerfeel Newbies receive acknowledgement in front of that crowd full of industry heavyweights was so humbling and joyful to witness. Every genre contributes to the greatness of this city. The full video is my bio.
