Let me put you on game! Been a fan of @iloveugly for as long as I can remember. Look ma, a V7!!! First Kilter V7, right on my 3rd year of climbing. I’ve struggled to break into the 7s, but we got there!!!This one honestly cooked me for a while. I felt close so many times, then would just fall off again and again. But last night, I finally felt strong on it. Felt bouncy, powerful, and locked in!One thing I’ve realised is that climbing is funny like that, there’s no real gauge for how much stronger you’ve gotten until you fully commit to a problem and see what your body can actually do. Sometimes the progress is happening quietly in the background the whole time.Keep pushing, climb hard, trust yourself a little more, and stay patient. A handful of years without an ACL in my right knee, so I train like it matters, because it does. Kneesovertoes, intense back to sport rehab/physio and dense strength built the base, plyo built the bounce. This paddle? Earned and new moves unlocked. Go up!
