Bay City Tapes is a raw and emotionally charged body of work rooted in memory, ambition, love, pressure, and survival. “Bay City” is a nod to Bayelsa State — the cultural heart of Nigeria’s South South region and the foundation of OLOOTÙ’s identity and sound. Across four records, the project captures the emotional contradictions of his world, where confidence, vulnerability, resilience, romance, and anxiety all exist at once. Grounded in mixtape culture, Tapes represents unfiltered transmissions straight from the source: late-night reflections, personal experiences, and music deeply connected to place, emotion, and self-expression.

The Studiooo Select T-shirt draws from the movement and energy of Lagos’s fabric markets spaces shaped by trade, discovery and the everyday rhythm of the city.

Rendered in black ink on a white boxy T-shirt, it features a restrained A7 Studiooo Select mark on the front and a full A3 graphic on the back.

@prsdnthoney hand-drawn Studiooo lettering resembles strands of thread woven together, connecting the identity to the fabrics below. The graphic captures the nostalgia, hustle and excitement of Lagos.

From stacked textiles and crowded walkways to the feeling of discovering something unexpected.

Produced in a limited run collectible pieces.
The Studiooo Select tee will be available exclusively at Studiooo Select in Joburg.

I still remember how Jomi and I went to chow Amala at @alaralagos after the meeting for this collaboration.

Story Time:
Back in 2021, when I joined @wflsncrm , one of the first things I was ever seeded was an all-black adidas Superstar. I never imagined that four years later I’d be sitting in a room with @j.mbello_ and @nmbello1 helping design a WAFFLESNCREAM adidas Superstar ADV.

One of the proudest parts of this project was pushing for a change to the silhouette itself. We introduced the mesh arc to better suit Lagos’ heat, and huge respect to the @adidas team for embracing the idea and making it happen.

Thank you to the ‘Russo Brothers of Design’😅 for bringing me into this project, and to everyone at adidas who trusted the vision.

A real full-circle moment.
So proud of this one.
And we’re only getting started.

“A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”

I truly believe 2025 was the Year of the Snake, a season of shedding and release. I let go of things I wasn’t ready to, and some of it broke me. Losing a homie so close wasn’t part of the plan, and the pain is still there, but God keeps renewing life with new mercies every day.

Now I can feel the Year of the Horse already showing itself with movement, alignment, and fresh momentum.
God is placing new ideas in my heart and guiding my steps.

Today I’m grateful for love, for life, for family, for friends, and for hope, especially through the new life He blessed me and @prsdnthoney with.
God has done it, and He will complete what He started.
