A new chapter for us — introducing New Tide Support Services 🌊

New Tide is something very personal to Steph and I.

After my amputation, we had to learn how to navigate the NDIS ourselves. We quickly realised how overwhelming it can be when you’re trying to understand the system, find the right supports and advocate for yourself — all while already dealing with enough in everyday life.

We’ve been through the questions, the paperwork, the uncertainty, the advocacy and the “surely this shouldn’t be this hard” moments.

That experience is what led us to New Tide.

We want to help participants and families feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and better equipped to navigate their NDIS journey.

And yes, we know the proposed changes to support coordination are coming in 2028. 👀

Are we starting at an interesting time? You could say that. 😂

But we’re here to help as many people as we can, and we’ll adapt as the NDIS landscape changes.

People see the baby. I see everything that came before him.

Parker has been asking to have a campfire and roast marshmallows pretty much everyday for the last few weeks. So, today was the day.

We had the firepit all set up ready to go for when he came home from preschool, and his little excited face was everything.

We spent the whole afternoon outside together, like we do most afternoons, but there was just something special about this one.

Every evening around the dinner table we tell each other what our favourite part of the day was, and tonight without hesitation, Parker said “our campfire, that was so special” 🥹 He may not remember all these small moments, but we sure will.
