So I picked up the MS-101 super cheap last week. I really wanted to see if it would give me a new angle at creating sounds and emotions in songs.

By starting this song restricted to only the one synth, it has made me dive deeper into what sounds I’m actually using and what purpose they are serving.

It’s made me let go of ideas, adapt and invite improvisation in. A lot of the time I have a sound/way I want my songs to sound. By being limited to just the MS-101 it’s opened up new sounds and ideas, partly due to the journey of trying to create a sound but it turning out different to my vision.

Overall I think I’ll definitely start learning and moving towards analog gear for music creation :)

Starting to mess around with some live synths!

Been putting a lot of time into learning specific synths and plug-ins that match the sound I want to try and produce. by @itsphyn_

7 hikes in 10 days and generally the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen.

I manage to take a total of 7 photos, so here’s a few from the girls that are pretty epic.
