I’m finally getting around to posting about my huge and brilliant three weeks in France! @grenoblestreetartfest has been running for five years over which they have curated enormous murals all across this beautiful mountain city from an incredible calibre of artists. I feel super proud to now be a part of that. Here is mural 1 of 3 for the @universitegrenoblealpes with assistance from @sophiemess_. Last May, I painted this wall in Old Street, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of my best murals to date. The inspiration came quickly and effortlessly, which is often a good sign. I was in that beautifully naive space of exploring this gold genre without overthinking it too much. It was one of those rare, unicorn moments when everything just felt simple and aligned. Painting back in my old stomping ground, with surprise visits from friends, made it an awesome week.

It’s a long story as to why it’s taken me until now to share it, but I’m glad it’s finally out in the digital world. And digitally is probably the only place it will exist soon. Street art is, after all, mostly ephemeral—that’s part of its magic. It has survived seven months (!) in a notorious graffiti area without a single tag, and I’m pretty happy with that.

Client of a lifetime… @meta! I’m still in a little bit of shock, but tremendously honoured that this enormous platform (with so many incredible artists) asked ME to paint a mural for them at their HQ in California.

Meta has truthfully been the driving force that’s enabled me to build a career and make a living from paint. In the early days, most of my jobs came through the requests folder in my DMS. Now, you guys, who have watched my journey for years are buying and commissioning my paintings (thank you). And to those that I follow, watching and connecting with artists, the world over, has kept me so inspired and motivated.

This mural is a little bit different for me, but I loved painting it. Content incoming x

8, nearly 9 months of working on my most life-changing collaboration to date! Launching very soon… 🤰🏻I’m so so excited to meet this little creation! Truly, I can’t believe I’m able to create a whole new living being with absolutely no conscious input from my brain. My body simply knows what to do, and despite the ongoing morning sickness, I’ve been completely in awe of the process.
Life keeps reminding me that you can never truly understand an experience until you’ve lived it firsthand. And my goodness, I have so much more respect for all the mums out there already!

Art I saw and loved in Europe this trip 😍 We create amazing and ridiculous things! What a funny by product of being alive - making art. Inspired by the boldness and total variety that makes up human kind. Also thoughts on studying a masters in Fine Art? I checked out the @royalcollegeofart this trip as I’ve been curious about going back into study. It’s been 14 years since I graduated and I’ve got an itch to go deeper into my work again. Final install photos from my murals in Melbourne for @kingpin_play with @juddyroller .

I’ve played around with the deck of card symbols, turning them into fun, bouncy, 3D golden objects. If you look closely, you’ll spot the reflection of the brilliant @adnate mural that I was painting next to. I ended up painting this king’s face four times... ha! (See picture 3)

I first met @juddyroller and most of the other incredible artists on this project back in 2017, so it was really special to be reunited with everyone in Melbourne! We had so much creative freedom on this one 👌 Let me know if you’ve had the chance to see it in Melbourne! Photos by @nicasa

I needed a big fat break after a crazy start to the year and a beautiful trip to Europe.

I’ve been going pretty hard for the last two years and, truth be told, I was completttteeelllyyy exhausted when I got back to Australia in May. Just nothing left in the tank! So, I gave myself permission to slow down a little, and have been quietly working on the neglected behind the scenes admin that keeps me going as a professional artist. It’s been good.

This week I got back on the brushes and, to my huge relief, it turns out I still love painting! I had a moment there where I thought I’d lost the spark for good... turns out I was just very, very tired! 😴

This piece is a commission for a beautiful collector of mine in London who has supported me over my last two shows. It was a pleasure to paint it for her, and it will be travelling to its new home in the US shortly.
I hope you are all well out there! I’m launching a few things soon (prints, originals, website), and I’ve got some big news to share over the next few weeks too 🤫
