Embracing everything 2024 has for me with open arms.

2023 was definitely a big year of firsts for me. I have so many new experiences to be grateful for. On the upside, I got to travel to Japan to see @tealaelise during her study abroad. Exploring Tokyo and neighboring cities with my mom and sister definitely set a tone for the year to me.

While I loved every moment of that experience, my life felt like it was paused due to my dad’s sudden transition from this life to more life shortly after I returned. Though I’m still dealing with this heartbreak I am so thankful to God and everyone who has been holding me and my family in love for the past 6+ months. Every smile, laugh and even tear have truly made my world go round.

I was nervous for 2024 to come because I thought I’d be leaving him behind in some way. Yet, I can say that I’m looking forward to every challenge, risk and blessing that’s in store for me.
