Heard it was National Son’s Day. I’ve known no greater joy than being this boy’s momma. You were so worth the wait, Hayes P. ❤️💙

Happy #nationaldayofthecowgirl. When I think of cowgirls I think of resiliency, love for our animals and the land; and a lot of grit, strength & softness.

Happy National Day of the Cowgirl to all of the women out there that embody these characteristics. ❤️💪🏼🤠

Six years ago today, I was in Barbados to transfer the first of 2 embryos that Scott & I had been fortunate enough to create, before he passed. I was so scared that it wouldn’t work and that I may never get a chance to be a mom. So, so many people were praying for this embryo to make it.

Six years later, I got to wake up the sweetest boy, make his breakfast and hold his hand as I walked him in to Pre-K.

God is so good.

Another fantastic piece for our cabin, from @blackforestdecor. It’s rustic, super unique and great quality. We love it!

My whole heart started Pre-K, today.

He didn’t shed a tear and I’ve cried enough for the both of us. 🥲 I’m so happy for him and all the fun he will have, but will miss him greatly for the hours we are apart.

Sending your whole world out into the world, is a scary thing- but I know he’s got an army of people in Heaven & on Earth watching over him and praying for his safety, happiness and well being.

Have a great day, buddy…your momma couldn’t be prouder of you and the incredible little person you’re becoming. XO taken in Oklahoma by @itssarahmason

If you’re looking for aromatherapy for your horses, you’ve got to check out @electricpony.co. Everything smells amazing and is made from plant derived, safe ingredients.

It’s perfect for sensitive coats and anxious horses. I’ll definitely be ordering more products in the future!

Cover photo: thank you to the super talented @dshep.captur3s for this photo of Birdie!

We had a family filled Oklahoma weekend! About 1/3 of our family from Austin, Kansas City, Waco and Chicago came and had a blast with us in the middle of nowhere, Oklahoma. 🤠

We did some western store shopping, and had a cookout at our house before visiting some of the cattle and horses.

We made s’mores, rode horses, fished, toured the ranch, visited the canyons of Freedom, ate some good Mexican food and went to church together on Sunday.

I am so blessed to have such an incredible extended family and can’t wait until the next get-together!

@rancherspreferredllc makes all natural products for everyday horse problems. They’re made by ranchers too, which is always a plus in our eyes! 🐴

Dozer loved his little spa day, and I love how these products help his itchy coat and hooves.

The most adorable teardrop turquoise studs, from @thewildflowerartisans. Perfect for everyday wear, but still super elegant and pretty. Check them out for some beautiful statement pieces, as well!
