I can’t believe the time has finally come.
Tomorrow, I’ll walk across the stage as a Winston-Salem State University graduate, and my heart is so full. This journey hasn’t been easy—but it’s been worth every late night, every tear, every sacrifice.

WSSU gave me more than a degree—it gave me a village, a voice, and a vision. I found purpose, power, and a passion for shaping little lives through Early Childhood Education: Birth through Kindergarten.

To every professor who poured into me, every friend who pushed me, and my family who never let me give up—thank you.

And to my grandma—I did this for me, but I carried you with me every step of the way. I hope Heaven is smiling. You are a part of this moment, always.

This is for the kids who need someone to believe in them the way others believed in me.

Tomorrow, I walk.
And now… it’s my turn to teach.
