Reflections on East-West Perspectives
Un nou proiect IRL (in real life) performativ care, printr-o combinație de arhive, narațiuni interactive, performance-uri și abordări contemporane, reflectă asupra complexității comunicării între trecut și prezent, între granițe și libertate. De la propaganda comunistă și controlul informației exercitat de Securitate, până la polarizarea actuală alimentată de populism și fake news, instalația sondează transformările identitare ale Generației Z și dezvăluie dinamici subtile dintre memorie, ficțiune și realitate.

Some days are for reflection, and today was one of them. Officially marking 30 years of existence I felt the need to take a pause instead of celebrating. They were tough. A lot of death. Illnesses. Stress. Fear. Thankfully, along the way appeared people and experiences to make it bearable.
My life doesn’t really correspond with the social norm, and that was a source of shame for a long time. It still is, in some days. Today, as I was thinking of this, I encountered this quote : “ There is no life you deserve. There is no hypothetical better life out there that you could have had if you had made all the right choices and passed the tests. There is just your one life and you’re not doing it wrong. You don’t need to do it better. All you need to do is keep going”.
I hope I’m gonna be able to build my inner peace, so that one day I can stay in sunlight, reading, and fully enjoying it. by @iuliachindea

If the starting point of pressing the shutter of a camera is the thought “ I’ll photograph what I’m interested in “, nature and people become very present in the last year. I guess somewhere along the way a line was drawn. In this carousel of living I came back to the interests I had as a 9 years old : nature, humans, the relationship between them. And I don’t see it as a trap in time my mind cannot escape, but as something very important that came to surface after everything that life thrown. Understanding for all life forms that surrounds us is essential, and I know it sound’s banal, but all the disturbances we face daily because of the lack of empathy and preserved ignorance confirms the fact that we, as humans, need to bring this more into discussion. And that’s why I think photography and all the other forms of expression matters: to make visible our views of human experience. That’s a good conversation starter. by @iuliachindea

This carousel used to be my favorite thing, because I loved horses so much ( still do ). I completely forgot about it ( now it’s a parking lot were it used to be an amusement park ), until now. I don’t know if I missed it, all these years, but it felt so weird to see it again, and how time passed on both of us. by @iuliachindea
